they call themselves switzerlands smallest 5 star hotel, which brings me right to the point... its never 5 stars - at best 4. very few nice, spacious and newly renovated rooms with a view of the lake (at least some of them), but lobby, reception, elevator and staircase clearly need a makeover as they do look a bit rundown. people... probably one of the best kept secrets in Geneva, the food was amazing and the gardens were absolutely gorgeous yet very close to the city center. having stayed at Mandarin, Four Seasons and Kempinsky before this would definitely be our choice next time we are in Geneva, much more personal and amazing.
