We found it looked shabby despite the boast that it was refurbished recently (it looked like something from the 1970s). The hotel is kept perfectly clean (as all Swiss hotels are), the staff is reserved to friendly (depending on whom you get). The rooms are regular-sized and very elegant. Good location opposite the train station in the centre of town and not too far from lake. Room fine but access to toilet very difficult for portly gentlemen!! Staff were friendly and helpful.
