This hotel was easy to get to on the bus from the train station. The room was clean and comfortable although the jug was antiquated and only worked sporadically. The room was well set up for three people but a bit on the small side. Bathroom was functional and clean and the staff were helpful. Not the most lavish hotel... More

The hotel is Ok for a short staying, its position is good if you work on the same side of the lake. If you should go on the other side the traffic could be really messy and you can lose up to 40 minutes to get work. Anyway it is OK if you reach Geneve by train as it is... More

Stayed for four nights in October. Hotel is a bit musty and tired. The room was tiny. I called the reception and asked if I could send something to them to print. The receptionist curtly informed me that he was not my secretary before explaining tat I could use the printer in the lobby. Ghastly hairdryer from the 1970s that... More

Les Nations is good value for Geneva, but it is hardly the 4 star hotel it claims to be. That being said, the room is clean, although small and old looking. The staff is friendly, proficient in english, but strangely does not have any recommendations for dinner places. Location is a little out of the way from the lake and... More

We stayed here for two nights, staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were neat and clean. Even though the hotel was walking distance from the station it was nice to be able to get the bus back after a whole day of sight seeing. It seemed the hotel was pretty quite... So it would have been even better stay... More

Hotel is within walking distance to the centre of Geneva. It has nice old-fashion styled rooms with good service and good breakfast buffets. Rooms have also small kitchen which should come handy during longer stay in Geneva. It is very clean and the staff is kind. It does look old-style but is well preserved and maintained. They also give you... More

LOCATION: You are able to walk from the Cornavin train station but it would be an upslope, alternatively, there is a bus number 8 from Cornavin to Canonniere then you just have to walk about 200m thereafter.Hotel location is at a peaceful vicinity but also with the efficient public transport it takes a short time to the central and old... I had a pleasant three night stay here. The room was average-sized, with large, comfortable bed and antique-type furniture. The decor (custard yellow) appeared somewhat faded and dated. There was no air conditioning, but a tower fan was provided. My rear-facing room was very quiet. The bathroom was dismal (brown tiles), with an inefficient tube-style hairdryer, but with decent-sized bath... More

We stayed here for an Easter break while visiting a friend. We only had breakfast on the last morning, but it was very nice. The breakfast room is filled with old-fashioned telephones and switchboards. The lift is hidden by a door that looks like a wall of bookshelves – but I’d been to their site, so I knew. The room... When making reservation, I was informed that it was a 4* hotel. Maybe Swiss star-ratings are different from those of other European countries (my experience is Germany, ASustria, Poland, Ukrain, Sweden, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, etc et). Anyway in no case this hiotrel deserves 4 stars. Room was little, however it was a small suite with separate kitchenett. Bathroom -... More
