It was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in - started with getting a twin room instead of the booked double, - the shower taps had no knobs, - the carpets were completely worn and shabby, - half a curtain was hanging down and the other half was stuck, - the safe would not lock and had bits of cigar... more
My family - two adults and two small children - really enjoyed the Le Grenil. The location was very convenient. The staff was super friendly and efficient. The restaurant downstairs was pretty handy. We booked a room with an extra bed for the children and it had plenty of room. We would stay there again definitely. Helena Bushroe more
Average hotel. Rooms are very small and the building has a bit of an institutional feel. The room was clean and the breakfast was reasonable. The center of town is about 15-20 mins by foot or 5-10 minutes by bus. There's probably nicer places to stay in Geneva for the same price; but I was content with my stay. more
I stayed at Le Grenil for two nights in June 2004. Foremost, the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. We were able to borrow an iron without any fuss, for example.
