We love convenience, that is why we chose this cause its just in front of the train station. You can tell its an old hotel and yes it think renovating the rooms can give the hotel a great boost. The staff was greatly warm and helpful plus you get a Free Public Transport Pass on your entire stay in Geneva!... More

avoid this hotel at all costs. noisy, rude staff, ant-filled bathroom, dirty towels/linen, horrific breakfast and more. don't be fooled by the location or any price deal - just pay a bit more and be far less miserable in Geneva...

We only chose to stay in Geneva as a convenient location between Zermatt, Switzerland and Paris, France, so we booked this hotel at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised. It is across the street from the train station and the water is just down the street - only minutes away. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful - they... More

This hotel could use a little updating (I understand it's on the schedule) but it's not bad. It's right across from the train station & not far from the lake. It was clean and the staff was friendly & helpful. The elevator is a vintage (30's?) must-see, and I hope it survives the renovation. The walls and doors are glass,... More

If you accept that Geneva is just expensive then this hotel makes sense. It's well situated, within easy walking distance of the lake. The hotel is clean but a little sparse. The staff made my stay, all so helpful and friendly. In the UK you wouldn't pay this much but it seems comparable to other Geneva hotels.

We booked this hotel for a business trip to a food show in Geneva. The room was cleaned, however the hair dryer did not work, nor did the TV. Breakfast consisted of toast and jam. In the middle of the night we found bugs crawling along the carpet. Disgusting!

This hotel has a great location right in the center of everything across from the train station. The lobby is clean, extremely small and not very well lit. I had a double room on the 4th floor and stayed for 5 nights. The room and bathroom was clean, however the mattress was hard and uncomfortable. My room was facing a... More

The hotel advertise that you pay only CHFR 119.00 but they do not bother telling you that this rate only applies on the weekend! On week days they bump the price up CHFR40.00 which ends up costing you $CAD 198.00 with exchange! The room is clean, that is true, but so small no fridge, no bar, a small closet and... More

If travelling by rail this is a perfect hotel as it is right across the road from the station. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. One small negative is that there was a nightclub or bar next door and it was a little noisy. The only serve breakfast but some good restaurants were within walking distance. Perfect fora three... I have stayed in this magnificent, historic three star Hotel several times over the last four decades, and discovered that it gets better all the time, maturing like good wine. It started operating before the first World War, in the early years of the 20th century. Its central location opposite Geneva Railway Station and near many bus stops is ideal.... More
