My husband and I stayed here recently for three nights. We were generally satisfied with the hotel - it was clean, the staff was helpful, and the room was a decent size (although the bathroom was very small). The proximity to the central train station was also great - the hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the central... More

Cannot expect much from a 3 star hotel in the centre of Geneva, but the single room I used in this hotel was just depressing. I don’t mind a small room, but if it is painted all over in a very unpleasant darkish brown colour and only two dim (like submarine) lamps... Bathroom small too of course, never mind, but... More

We've stayed 3 couples on April 17, 2015 for a one night stay. The location is ideal being it was walking distance to the waterfront and had lots of restaurants nearby. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The rooms were small but very clean with 2 twin beds and a tiny bathroom. The beds were actually quite comfy.... More

I had written to them requesting an early checkin, I got a quick reply saying they would if it was possible. Located close to the station. I reached early but the room were not available. The gentleman at the reception asked us to keep the bags in the luggage room and gave us travel card to roam around the city.... More

Stayed multiple nights while on business. Rue de Berne is the red light district - a bit seedy! The attentive, friendly even funny staff were helpful with needed or extra services. Rooms are basic, but adequate. Clean linens. Very small bathroom, but plenty of hot water. Internet worked well, though slowed down at peak hours. Lifts are for two persons... More

Initially, i little worried to stay at this hotel because i saw many reviewer comment that this hotel is on red light district.. But after i arrived, i think there's no issue on this. Location is good. You only take 10mnt to reach Geneva central station.. Also 10mnt to reach Geneva lake with the great view.. And also on this... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2015

We chose this hotel primarily on its proximity to Gare Cornavin and the price. Geneva is a rather expensive city in comparison to where we have travelled in Europe (Scandinavia included) and Hotel Windsor represented quite good value. The hotel itself was fine - easy to find, pleasant staff, modern decor. The room was average sized for a twin room,... More

We arrived at night and after 30 minutes we were already off. The booking was a big mistake but the pictures on the web site were acceptable for just a night. But once there we could not resist more than 30 minutes. Dirty, never saw such a small bathroom. No heating. Noisy. We could hear the TV from of the... More

Hotels in Geneva are expensive. For a more or less reasonable price and decent hotel that has everything basis your need from a hotel, the Windsor is a good choice close to the train station and standard good rooms.

most things have been said already about this hotel but will say that for the price I paid I was very happy. The staff were very accommodating when I turned up very early for check in, I had a room facing the front of the hotel, noise was not a problem for me at all. The breakfast room was large... More
