We chose this hotel primarily on its proximity to Gare Cornavin and the price. Geneva is a rather expensive city in comparison to where we have travelled in Europe (Scandinavia included) and Hotel Windsor represented quite good value. The hotel itself was fine - easy to find, pleasant staff, modern decor. The room was average sized for a twin room,... More

We arrived at night and after 30 minutes we were already off. The booking was a big mistake but the pictures on the web site were acceptable for just a night. But once there we could not resist more than 30 minutes. Dirty, never saw such a small bathroom. No heating. Noisy. We could hear the TV from of the... More

Hotels in Geneva are expensive. For a more or less reasonable price and decent hotel that has everything basis your need from a hotel, the Windsor is a good choice close to the train station and standard good rooms.

most things have been said already about this hotel but will say that for the price I paid I was very happy. The staff were very accommodating when I turned up very early for check in, I had a room facing the front of the hotel, noise was not a problem for me at all. The breakfast room was large... More

Upon leaving the airport be sure to print your free travel card which will enable you to get to Geneva train station, the hotel is a few streets walk, not far at all, the walk is where you will start to notice some ladies of the night and some shifty characters. The hotel itself is nice enough, we were told... More

Considering how expensive Geneva is, this hotel is good enough for the budget conscious traveller. I was travelling alone and wary about walking about in the so-called red light district in the late evening but did not encounter anything untoward. The single room I was in was pretty basic but comparatively OK for the convenience of the location which is... More

The hotel is about 5 minutes’ walk from the station and a few minutes to Lake Geneva and the public transport boats (mouettes - seagulls). If arriving by air, you can get a free ticket for the 8 minute train journey from a machine in the baggage reclaim area. When you check in you will get free transport tickets for... More

If being within sight of the train station is your top priority, then this is the hotel for you. If you're in Geneva as a tourist or simply hope to stay in a neighborhood with some charm, you may wish to look elsewhere. I'm a serious walker, so I didn't mind the hike to the various museums and the Vieille... More

Stayed here for three nights at the start of Feb 2015. The hotel was chosen because it is very well priced compared to a lot of places in Geneva. Reception, bar and breakfast area are all good, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The room was all you need from a hotel room with a comfy bed. The pillow... More

Stayed here for a few nights in early February. It is ideally located for local transport, rail and easy return to Geneva Airport. It is a 10-15 minute leisurely stroll to the Old Town (Cité) and to view the Jet d'Eau from the Jardim Anglais. For Geneva the hotel price is very reasonable. The room clean, and serviced daily. The... More
