The hotel is situated a little out of town but very close to the Botanical Gardens and a lovely park leading down to Lake Geneva. Check-in was quick and the staff first class. In fact during our four night stay the staff were excellent giving advice on places to visit and which restaurants to use in the city. The rooms... more

Okay, Hotel Eden is not the swankiest address in Geneva. It is a charming, old-fashioned hotel with great service and ambiance. Our rooms were very tiny but included all the bascs and were clean. THe lobby had hot tea and coffee always available and the breakfast was very good, indeed. It was a very nice stay and we would return... more

There is an old fashioned feeling at the Eden, which can be positive -- charming lobby and dining area, balconies, grand staircase and lift. There are some features, however, that a 3-star hotel should have in 2008 that the Eden seems to have forgotten. There is no fitness room or pass to a gym. There is no kettle in the... more

Some of the staff members at this place were down right rude and insulting. Their air conditioning broke down and they did nothing to compensate us for the hot nights we spent staying awake! Very bad customer orientation...my recommendation...find another place! more

Dear Guest Provided they are given in good faith, we welcome all reviews – including negative ones – as they help us to improve our service. We very much regret your disappointment during your short stay in our hotel. You made an online reservation for four people in a standard room. You requested by e-mail a free upgrade; we replied...

We had some problems with this hotel. We made a reservation explicitly for a room with a twin bed but we ended up with a room with a small double bed (three-quarter bed). A normal double bed would even have been acceptable, but this was a bit too cosy for two friends. Since all rooms were booked the only option... more

Hotell very close to the WTO building and the lake. The hotel is small and simple but clean and well kept. Rooms are not too small and with furniture in good condition. Breakfast buffet is not bad. Some rooms (those which are on the side on the streeet) are however a bit noisy. more

Just returned from a 3 night short break at the Eden Hotel, Geneva. What an excellent choice! Booked via Thomas Cook, it was a bit of a gamble as the travel agents had very limited information on the hotel or pictures, however the gamble paid off. The hotel is situated in a lovely spot just opposite the Jardin Botanique (Botanical... more

This is a nice hotel, it is clean and provides a nice breakfast. The room was air-conditioned and has a balcony It is a bit out of geneva ~ 20 min walk to train station but there is a bus that stops outside the front door. The walk in is lovely as it runs along side the lake and so... more

I stayed at the Eden for two nights in order to work at one of the nearby international organizations. I found the staff to be very helpful, the room spotless and the hotel very conveniently located near the international organizations. The hotel is not ideally located if you are planning time in the city center. I stayed in a single... more
