If you want to experience a typical swiss atmosphere and food, this is the best place to go. Food is good, service is great, they have a traditional show during dinner, rooms are comfortable, location very good as well, in summary, a great experience.

Super location, very easy to find. We walked from the train station. The hotel may be kitschy, but it's everything I thought of when I pictured switerland. Knotty pine everywhere:) the room and Internet service was perfect. The on-site fondu restaurant was a lot of fun. Also , even the elevator was fun.

It has a great location convenient to the lake, the station, nice bistros and supermarkets. However the smallness of the rooms and the smell of fondue everyhwere all the time made it less enjoyable. The Swiss styling was fun to start with but after 2 weeks the kitschy nature of it wore thin.
