Got lost finding this hotel following another Trip Advisor's post with walking directions from the train station. Area was disappointing. This was our first time to Geneva, and we were not impressed. As others have stated, the area around the hotel is sketchy at best. We walked from the train station to the hotel, to the lake, and within a... More

This hotel is pretty quirky - the hotel lobby is full of stuffed st Bernard's dog toys and the whole place is clad in wood to give it an alpine chalet feel. The check in was really easy and the guy that dealt with us was super polite. We would recommend this hotel.

This is a great hotel as Geneva goes. Location next to all the transport one needs. Very clean, warm, friendly staff. Value varies depending on price you pay, €120 is about right, more than this you are paying for the fact there is a big conference or meeting in the UN or elsewhere. The biggest issue is that Geneva overall... More

While the rooms are a bit cramped for two adults, we were able to manage quite well. Staff were very helpful with suggestions for dinner and even gave us detailed instructions in how to get to many unusual areas. It's a funny odd hotel which is part of its charm.

Yes, as other reviewers have noted, this is a cliche' of the Swiss Chalet. It is incredibly cutesy - I agree with the reviewer that said it was like being in a cuckoo clock. However, we don't spend a lot of time in our hotel rooms when we travel, and the location of this hotel is great. We did a... More

Loved this hotel, very traditional and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The restaurant has a great band on in the evenings with traditional music and it is great fun. Food was superb. Cote du Boeuf is a must and the chocolate fondue is very indulgent. Highly recommended.

Had a nice time, what I really liked was the friendliness of the lady behind the reception. A friend and I stayed there earlier this year, my friend was taking a long time to get out the room and I was waiting for her. The receptionist allowed us to keep our bags behind reception while we went out and explored... More

Here's the pro's: Handy location - easy to walk to lake / supermarket / restaurants and a bit further to tourist sights and old part of the city. Cost very reasonable for Geneva. Rooms functional, clean and quietish. We didn't eat in the hotel - for breakfast I popped across the road for fresh croissants + fruit from the supermarket.... More

We stayed here for 1 night in August 2014. This hotel was a bit of fun and we rather enjoyed our evening of 'Swiss entertainment' in the themed restaurant, complete with live music and horn blowing. This hotel is styled like a Swiss chalet and guests looking for a chic, designer experience need not apply. Located within walking distance of... More

In the city center of Geneva, this hotel is made as a Swiss cliché mountain house. Stuffed St- Bernard dogs everywhere (when i mean everywhere i mean like 20 in the lobby only, wooden walls and fire place. yes this may look a bit like a mountain house with the strong artificial smell. once this step passed, the hotel is...
