We stayed at the NH Rex (then still known as Nash Rex) before, and had good memories. The place is still good, with nice, quite plush and very clean rooms. Staff, however, were not too friendly, and we heard (unconfirmed ) that ownership of the hotel changed twice in a year. True or not, staff seemed as monivated as if... more

The NH Rex was a wonderful hotel. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We arrived a couple hours before check-in time, and the reception was kind enough to store our bags so we could go around the city. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the main station by tram, and about 7-10 minutes from the center of the... more

the hotel was clean but but no means was it 4*. The room was decent but there was no mini bar, there was an empty fridge which wouldnt cool the drink we bought. must of been broken. staff very helpful in showing to the places to go for transport and dining. no late residents bar which was dissappointing. worth staying... more

This is not the best looking hotel, and it is not in the best location unfortunately, but it is a good base within striking distance of all of the attractions if you don't mind a walk. We walked the city for the duration of our holiday despite all tourists getting a free travel pass for public transport - You have... more

Just returned from Geneva and stayed at the NH Rex Geneva from 9 -11 March 2009. We paid roughly £80 per night so got good value after booking mainly for the Motorshow. Most of the other hotels (even this one on some searches!) were asking prices like £200 per night - so we were quite happy with the price of... more

It was my first time at Geneva and we were looking for a hotel between the United Nations quarters and the city center, NH Rex offered affordable rates and the rooms seemed nice, so we went for it. ARRIVAL: We got there right after lunch and the hotel was kind of near the airport, the staff was very friendly and... more

I don’t recommend this hotel at all and I won’t stay here again. It is not worth to be a 4-star hotel. Most of the things announced in the website are not available. Instead of a minibar in the room, there is a fridge, that doesn’t work. A “nearby fitness” is, actually, quite a walk, and costs about EUR 14,00... more

Stayed 7 nights in October 08. Loved my stay; big and clean rooms, very good service, tasty breakfast. Though a bit outside the very central Geneva, many buses and trams take you there in 5 mns. I even walked to the down town and it was pleasant (15 mns). The bus to the UN stops at the front door of... more

My husband and I went here for our 1st anniversary. We had read reviews and were alittle hesitant about our visit... however we need not have had any negative thoughts. From the airport we were able to get a no 10 bus to stop CHARMILLES which was then a 10 min walk to the hotel. The hotel was very clean,... more

This hotel appears to have been through two owners in the past couple of years and is now owned by Spanish chain NH Hoteles. I stayed here for two nights in October. When I arrived at the hotel late in the evening, I was taken to my room and immediately hit by a really unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom.... more
