I saw some mixed reviews on TripAdvisor about this hotel. Since I was only in Geneva for 2 nights, I figured that I would roll the dice and take a chance. First off you can't ask for a better location especially if you are traveling by train. This hotel is literally across the street from the central station. The staff... More

Waste of time and money we checked in saw the rooms and left immediately it was terrible. Two single beds when I requested for a king bed, the beds wouldn't even fit one tall person. Very old, ugly and dirty balcony/furniture. Travels DO NOT waste your time looking at this hotel. It's a shame they call it a Hotel.

The hotel has a very good location, client oriented personnel, clean and cozy rooms with nice views (we had rooms on the 9th floor). Tea pot is useful with complementary tea. It was a great experience.

Thte Hotel Cornavin enjoys minor fame as appearing in a Tintin cartoon - and there is a statue of Tintin in the front window of the hotel as you arrive. Things would have changed somewhat fromm Herge's day however, as this hotel has been cleverly refurbished to provide a nice contemporary feel to what has obviously been an old classic.... More

Let's start with the pros: the hotel is located at literally 30 meters from the train station, and the rooms are very big. I wouldn't say it is too close to the city center but it's not far either. The staff is not that helpful, most of times I had to wait for them to finish their chat before someone... More

The only reason to stay here is the location, it is basically part of the train station. The check in was friendly and efficient. They still uses really keys that you need to ask and give back every time you come and go. The room was a good size but very dark and old , stained carpet, yellow wall, old... More

Taking into consideration the accommodation prices in Geneva, the hotel was available at a very good price. Our room was very comfortable, situated at the top floor, with a great view, very clean. The hotel is right across the street from the train station and the Jet D'eau is very close (5 minutes tops).

The hotel is effectively in the train station. The station attracts questionable types as the evening goes on. The rooms are not clean (dirty furniture, stained carpets, dirty bathroom). You have to ask for everything like new sheets and towels. Be warned if you ask for anything you will be annoying the staff and you likely won't get what you... More

Stayed for 3 nights on business. Chosen essentially for location as adjacent to main rail station (1 stop from airport & free ticket from machine in baggage reclaim hall) and also a tram hub. Hotel is fairly standard (although I believe all rooms have single beds irrespective of size, a double therefore has 2 single beds). That said, room was... More

Aside from the fact that everything in Geneva is exceedingly expensive including accommodation, this hotel was a great choice. The hotel is located directly opposite the train station and a tram & bus stop. The is very convenient for getting back to the airport as we can hop on a free train transfer to catch our flight. The rooms are... More
