I work for IHG in England and this was my first stay on staff benefits. My french/german isnt functional and extends to basic phrases, the staff throughout the hotel spoke english to me, or understood what I wanted in my appauling foreign languages. Restaurant Carlights had a fine menu with good portions and tasty food. There were two health suites... more

Stayed for one night at the Crowne Plaza Geneva Airport. 375SFR (incl. breakfast). The hotel is not walking distance from the airport, so you need to take the free shuttle buss, running every 20 min. The hotel lacks personality and when you are there in the evening, there is really nothing else to do then to sit in your room.... more

An easy shuttle ride from GVA airport... Hotel provides a free ticket on public bus system into Geneva. The ride takes about 10 minutes and is no hassle. Rooms are quiet, comfortable, well appointed, and very clean. The concierge, Paul, is incredibly helpful and went well out of his way to suggest restaurants in Geneva and to help us plan... more

I stayed here back in July 2007 as was very pleased with the hotel. Very clean and the staff were excellent. Nice facilities with a spacious room. Would stay here again! Also, dont forget to ask for a free Geneva Transport ticket, available at the reception if youre planning to do some tourist around town. more

Supposed to be a 5 Star, modern contemporary Hotel. Ground floor met this description but that's as far as it goes. Majority of the staff unable or unwilling to help - couldn't work out which with some of them ( although one or two were great especially Paul from Plymouth ). Rooms in the old wing are being modernised to... more

We arrived at this hotel only to be led into four different rooms until they produced the room we originally asked for- a non-smoking double. The room was not clean- the shower had a lot of hair in the drain. The internet is an additional cost, along with expensive meals, movies, and mini bar treats. The hotel experience, with the... more

I was there for the Geneva motor show. It is just next to the Geneva Palexpo. The multi-level underground garage parking is large enough, but may be quite busy when the hotel is full. There are two wings, the "remote" one (from the reception viewpoint) seems to be the newer and probably most refined one. Anyhow, I was there for... more

The hotel is located close enough to the centre of Geneva although it is definitely not walkable. The reception desk will provide you with a pass allowing you free travel on the bus to town. The bus stop is about 5 minutes away from the hotel. The only gripe would be the attitude of the Concierge staff. Reception was very... more

I have stayed pretty often at the Crowne Plaza for 6 years or more and the hotel has definately gone up a gear since the new wing was added. The rooms in the original hotel are a little tired but rooms in the new wing are light and airy with nice picture windows - mostly of the field at the... more
