We stayed here for two nights in June. We arrived by bike, on a very hot summers day and were given cold facecloths to cool down with, which were greatly appreciated. We were shown to the secure underground park (which was a bit overpriced) bur very handy and safe. The hotel is a little dated but everything was immaculate, clean... more

I stayed here for 3 nights in late May 2009. If I hadn't received the ridiculously low rate of $150USD/night I would not have been happy. First all the positives: huge bed that was amazingly comfortable, the room was HUGE, the shower was large, the room was quiet, the location was great, and the receptionist was very friendly. Now the... more

I stayed here four nights while attending a conference and was very pleased with the decor, service, and above all the location. I was rather shocked at the price of breakfast (36 Swiss Francs, or around $33 US) but there are plenty of nearby cafes for those not interested in a sumptuous and exorbitant buffet. The rooms are elegant (mine,... more

The former Sofitel is a nice four star hotel in Geneva. The location is just fantastic. The rooms are clean and mid-sized. Overall a nice hotel for business travellers to Geneva (close to the Quartier des Banques). Nearby are some nice bars. more

I stayed for a week while on business in Geneva. The hotel was delightful - very clean and beautifully appointed. The (single) room was a bit small, probably too small for two people, but just fine for a solo traveler. The staff was extremely helpful and the location very convenient - a block from Manor (a large department store), a... more

The Hotel Rotary is located in the city centre of Geneva within a 5 minute walk from the central station and easily accessible. The hotel used to be part of Accor’s upmarket Sofitel range but has recently been downgraded to the M-Gallery level and there are clear reasons why. The lobby oozes old world charm with dark colours and comfy... more

Stayed at Rotary Hotel for 2 nights in Feb. 2009. I had booked a double room (even though I was a single-I remembered how small European hotels can be and seeing as how the single and double were the same price......)and they immediately upgraded me to a superior room. It had an entrance foyer and the room was the biggest... more

The Rotary Hotel was called the Sofitel when I last stayed in August 2007. It is still owned by Accor but has been re-branded. It looked much the same to me save that the logos had changed. I stayed 2 nights Wednesday and Thursday 4 and 5 March 2009. It coincided with Geneva Motor Show which had pushed up prices.... more

We stayed at the Rotary Hotel on the way back from Skiing. We were shown one room that cost about £135 and were dissapointed and settled for another tired room. The walls were like a rippled render, very 1970's.The bathroom was better but very small indeed. The staff were very pleasant and the position fine but I thought it was just poor... more

While one should not expect the standard of the North American Sofitels, I found this one to be even a notch higher than the Paris ones (for cheaper too!!!) Room 713 + Efficient staff at(albeit a little cold) check-in **** + Big roomy room ***** (for Switzerland) + Sofitel Bed ***** + Big towels, Bathrobes, slippers... ***** + 2 doors... more
