Basic but adequate. Large room with equally large ensuite but very dated furniture and fittings. Breakfast was average. Car parking was free and tram into city was about five minutes away. It was raining for the two days we were there and so we felt the omission of a lounge or bar or tea/coffeee facilities. I would rate this hotel... more

Having been to Bern before we decided to stay away from the train station for a change and so a short tram ride got us to the quiet neighbourhood of the Hotel Jardin. You can only use Swiis coins in the ticket machines and the hotel is in the first fare zone and from the stop it is only a... more

This is a modest, but very well maintained, neighborhood hotel. On-site restaurant is convenient and reasonably-priced, and the food is not bad. The tram to old town is about 2 blocks away, and walking to old town takes about 20 - 30 minutes and can be done through the town's rose garden park and its outstanding views of old town.... more

This hotel is in a quiet location, with a nice size room and modern bathroom. Too bad it didn't have air conditioning as it was quite warm in Bern.
