Hi, this is a great little spot for very reasonable price to stay in Switzerland. You are in the heart of everything, charming, little Swiss city and you will be staying in the old town. The person who us running the place have been running it over 30 years. He really cares and tries to help. Parking is probably the... More

Great position in the old town. Clean and comfortable good sized rooms. Small compact bathrooms. My daughter had a single room which was much smaller than ours with the same size bathroom. Her room was clean and bright.. Reception staff were very helpful with information about Bern and the train to Zurich. Breakfast was basic with the usual European selection... More

Our family stayed there last month. The room was very nice and large for European standards. It was during the World Cup and the bar across the street was very loud, but after closing the windows we were able to sleep comfortably, so the rooms are well insulated for sound. The location is great. A short tram ride from the... More

I stayed with my family in this hotel. It is not a bad hotel, rooms were spacious, fairly clean, our room was quiet (did not have view to the street), staff was very friendly and helpful, it is very well situated, right in the middle of everything if your a tourist, breakfast was good and we had dinner one day... Booked this hotel because my favourite hotel in Bern was sold out. This hotel is in the very middle of Bern which give you parking problems. The rooms are slightly above average. The beakfasf is very good, the location is perfect. The price is very high.

Spent 2 nights in early June, close to the train station, and convenient to walking the old city and the River Aare. The room was spacious (we did request and were given one in the rear and it was very quiet), with a good bathroom with shower. It was very hot when we were there and we were provided with... More

This is a quaint hotel, the rooms were modern and updated. It is in a very loud neighborhood, so make sure that you ask for rooms on the back side of the hotel. We were exhausted, but able to sleep with our windows open, just be aware that across the street was live music, we were there on a Saturday... More

Stayed here for one night recently. Room was newly updated but very small. Bathroom was some sort of pre-manufactured "pod" assembly that was very small. TV was was attached to a blank wall with no decorations. No air conditioner. Breakfast was your basic European fare. Cheese, yogurts, fruit and breads. They did have an expresso machine in the back. Very... More

This is a lovely, cozy, well appointed hotel. WIFi in the room wad great. Breakfast Buffet was typical European offerings. Expect super strong coffee as the Swiss drink coffee with their milk as opposed to American who drink milk in their coffee. The location was perfect being a few minutes from the train station and close to many restaurants. Our... More

Overall the rooms are nice and clean, very modern. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is small, but it is free so you can't complain about that considering how expensive it is to dine in Switzerland. What I didn't like is how loud it is outside at night. If you stay here, be sure to request a... More
