If you want to blow the budget, this is a great place to do it. We had a junior suite (two large rooms, king size bed) with a view of the river and the mountains. Good service at the reception desk. All very smart and tasteful. Good location in the old town (which is delightful). more

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms spacious. Our room had a great view of the river with the Alps in the distance. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Bern's scenic old town and within walking distance of the train station. This is a fine hotel although a rather expensive one. more
