Hotel BELLE EPOQUE is located at Gerechtigkeitgasse which is full of lovely shops and historic buildings. The hotel facade was very nicely lit up with Christmas decorations. It was a boutique Hotel in a great location. It was very small and the room was very small. It was charmining but it did need some updating. The breakfast was very expensive and we chose to eat somewhere else in town. We only stayed 1 night before we went to Lucerne. It was clean and the staff was nice. more

I stayed here 2 nights this October. From the moment I walked in, I was pleased. Note, that the street out front is under major construction so, if you plan to stay here soon, be sure to take a room in the back of the hotel. My stay at the Belle Epoque was better than the usual European stay. The room, though not large, was unique. The closet was decorated to look like stacked trunks.
