Spent a good week at the Alexander, two minor irritations: 1. Could do with tea/coffee facilities in the bedrooms. 2. great location. tram stop is opposite the hotel. so everywhere in basel can be easily reached within 10 minutes. great bars on the same street as the hotel. rooms are clean, but a little outdated. comfy double bed and huge bathroom more
