Plus points: - central location - clean - nice shower Negative points: - small room - had room at front of hotel with noise from the trams and road outside evident despite having window closed - when I arrive the air con in my room was working OK, cooled the room down & the fan noise helped mask the noise... Dear Hotel Euler-Guest, Thank you very much for your review. Regarding air conditioning, the unit turns off automatically when the outside temperature is less than 10 degrees. This is regulated by law in Switzerland. Kind regards Daniel Fankhauser General Manager More

I stayed six nights in a single economy room. The room was very quiet, well equipped, the bathroom was modern but small. Breakfast is very good but always the same selection of items. The only negative is the placement of the safe, very high up so that I had to climb on a chair to find things.

We stayed in this hotel whilst visiting the Christmas market in Basel. We booked the hotel through laterooms.com and upon arrival were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost. The suite was lovely and modern with an absolutely amazing bathroom with large bath and shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet considering we were right at... More

Stayed here recently for business, just one night. Central location in Basel is really good as is the included public transport ticket-unfortunately due to work commits, didn't get chance to use it, which is a shame as Basel looks like a nice place to visit. Hotel has clearly been there for a while but has been renovated reasonably recently. Bedroom... More

We chose the Hotel Euler based on other travellers reviews and thought we had made a good choice....until we arrived. Check-in was fine and we were given room 206 after presenting our booking receipt. The room was 2 single beds, not the king size double bed we booked, that was clearly on the booking receipt, and that we were a... More

Stayed for one night recently on a room only basis. Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room [standard] and bathroom, given the price we paid.Great view from the room on 4th floor [side not front] Only criticism would be staining on the carpets hence the 4* rating. Service at the front desk was exemplary. We had two issues, one... More

We only stayed over night in order to catch a flight at the airport in Mulhouse the next morning. The location is fabulous: you are right next to the station and the bus stop to the airport. A short, easy stroll brings you into the heart of Basel. Our room was very spacious, clean and equipped with all the mod-coms... More

I usually stay at the Hilton Basel but decided to try the Euler this time as the Hilton is in serious need of renovation. I was not disappointed. The Euler is a good four star hotel. The rooms are good (the flooring is a bit old), and the bathrooms are modern and fully functional.
