Very small rooms, with much noise in the morning (city tram). No air condition. Unfriendly staff. The want to charge two nights on the invoice, instead only one night. They ignore wishes like a non-smoking room or a room in the lower floors. more

We stayed in the hotel Europe in Basel, from the 13 February to the 17 February. The hotel was great, the staff were very helpful and pleasent, the hotel and the rooms were spotless. The breakfast buffet was very vairied and well presented. All together a very pleasent experience and we would stay there again. more

I have stayed twice at the Hotel Europe and both stays have been exceptional. Hotel room clean and adequate size. Breakfast was included and was very good. Friendly staff. Tram pass included with stay which was great to help get about Basel. 10-15min walk to town centre or 5min in a tram - ideal. Definately recommend this hotel. more
