I enjoyed my stay at this B&B. I did not want to stay in a typical Chain type Hotel. I am American and was first trip to Switzerland. I used Basel as my home base for trips to Germany and Austria. As far as a negative comment left by some else about wanting to bring a 7 myth old baby.... More

A group of 4 of us stayed at Sabine's lovely little B&B for 1 night after a Viking Christmas market river cruise, which ended in Basel. She is a wonderful hostess - very friendly and knowledgable about the area and Switzerland in general and a delight to talk to. The B&B is in a perfect location - right at the... More

I picked this place because of the pictures. And I have to admit, the overall visual experience of the place does not disappoint. However the rooms are quite sparse compared to the way they look in the photos. The old building has wood floors throughout and they squeak with every step. I had forgotten that three rooms share a bathroom.... More

B&B Sabine is a wonderful place to stay in Basel. It is very conveniently located over a supermarket with trams right outside, but as soon as you enter, the noise from outside is gone. The B&B was clean and comfortable, and Sabine was a great host. Breakfast was perfect, and the tram ticket and wifi were included. I would definitely... More

In spite of a plumbing problem while we were there, Sabine took great care of us. Sumptuous breakfasts, clean rooms and great advice on the city. The B&B is well located above a Migros store, so you have all of your needs close at hand. Several trolley and bus lines stop just down the street and a transit pass comes... More

Stayed two nights with Sabine. The room was large the spotlessly clean. The brealfast was delicious and beautifully served. She provided cereal, yogart, eggs, bread, cheese fruit and coffee or tea. She is such a nice hostess and could not have been more helpful. She even provided us with an umbrella when it rained. A bit hard to find, go to... More

I was not able to stay in this B&B. After a brief email communication with the owner, she told me that a room was available, gave the price and asked if I confirm. In my return email, I confirmed our booking, gave our full names and informed her that we have a 7-month old baby, politely asking if she could... More

This is a nice B&B located close to all attractions in Basel. The breakfasts were filling and Sabine was very eager to help. My only qualm was that it was almost too quiet, I felt that I always had to whisper. Access to public transit is excellent and the rooms where extremely clean and comfortable.

A big surprise! Everything in this B&B was perfect. An ideal place to stay in Basel. Very convenient to all destinations. Many places to eat around and some of them are very good. Try the pizza in Migros in the ground floor, it is a good solution for a fast meal! Rooms are big enough, extremely clean, with convenient furniture,... More
