My husband and I enjoyed our 25th wedding anniversary at this lovely resort. We stayed in the Chickadee cabin for 4 days. It was beautiful and well appointed. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere for plenty of rest and relaxation. The meals were delicious and filling. The staff was awesome. They really made you feel like you were at home and... More

I was here in May for a wedding and was truly surprised by how wonderful this resort was to stay at. I had no idea what to expect when I arrived because I was the wingman and didn't do any research. The property is a sprawling Muskoka country club feeling resort with beautiful and functional chalets. We stayed in Titmouse... More

We chose this property to spend our Thanksgiving weekend. We found what we were looking for: nice & very well kept property, peace & quite, clean and comfortable self catering accommodation and on-site restaurant. This resort caters to every one, from couples to groups, however, we were told that their main clients are wedding parties and that it is difficult... More

We went here for friends' wedding and had a great time. Beautiful location right on the lake, we canoed, kayaked and swam during the day and partied all night. The cabins are nice, just what we needed, but maybe a bit "empty" (kitchen stuff, furniture, no TV) if you're staying for more days.

I've stayed here on several occasions at Thanksgiving, but the most recent stay was a 1 week summer holiday. I needed a place of total relaxation, down-time, and quiet. This property and resort met all these needs. The cottages are well spread out across the property making it seem like very few people were here. Stayed in the BoatHouse #1... More

We made phone reservations for our 2 night visit with Angela , who is very pleasant and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We used the gas fireplace, but like another viewer, we were not sure how to turn it on. Perhaps in their welcome sheet an explanation would be helpful. The grounds are well maintained and they... My wife and I were lucky to get-away for a relaxing stay in Lake of Bays, and take advantage of a Groupon promotion that we extended to 4 nights. We stayed in the a unit of the Sandpiper House, which is not right on the look, but just a short walk up from the unsupervised beachfront/dock area. The staff were... More

This was a wonderful experience. We were there from Fri afternoon to Monday morning. The whole property and the cottages are well maintained. Didn't try the restaurant. We rented two cottages to accommodate approx 15 people. All the amenities were great. There are no TVs (except in a some bar that was closed) and no motor boats or swimming pool.... More

We had family coming in from Alberta for a visit and wanted to spend a couple of nights away. In the Toronto Star, Jaunt.ca advertised Port Cunnington Lodge. We liked the look of the Lodge and after placing a phone call and speaking to Angela, a lovely conversation, we booked. What a wonderful gem in the Muskoka's Enjoyed every moment, the... More

Just returned from a one nite Wagjaunt getaway & can't wait to book again. I know the area quite well so knew what to expect from spending time on Lake of Bays, but had no idea what a fabulous job they've done with this property. First of all, it's spotless and everything appears brand new. The food was exceptional and... More
