As a newborn traveller, I started with an Interrail trip through Europe. This farmhouse is situated in a small town called Perugia, and there are many buses that go to the farmhouse from Perugia central station. From the busstop it is only a 10 minute walk upto the farmhouse. It is not a touristic spot, it is a small real... More

My wife and i camped here for two nights during our honeymoon through Italy. This was the only place that disappointed us. Here are some of the reasons why; -Crowded campsite. There was one family from Belgium in a motorhome that were placed outside the front gates of the property because there was not enough space on the grounds. -Not... More

This hostel is a backpacker's perfect getaway from the cities of Italy. You'll get a real countryside experience here (if you want it) or else a chance to kick back by the pool. Don't miss the pizza parties when they're on! This hostel has a very special place in my heart.

We had a great weekend here! The owners Manuele and Laura are very friendly and welcoming and speak perfect English, we were amazed that the hostel was so cheap considering the location and quality of the stay. The only disappointment was the closed swimming pool, although it is March so that's understandable. There's loads to do here, and I would... More

If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay out of the city, you've found it. This would have to be the best place I have ever stayed. The staff and owners are so friendly and helpful and the grounds are beautiful. I had been traveling for a while around Europe and came to Perugia farmhouse for a 1... More

Best hostel ever! Such a warm welcome in this beautiful city. The swimming pool is fantastic, a relief when you are used to average hostels. Extreme friendly staff and interims, nice excursions and they know a lot about the surroundings of Perugia. This place is perfect for a stay of 5 days, even if you have already experienced the city... More

If you are looking for a place in the centre of Perugia or to spend a lot of time in the city, this may not be for you. If you are looking for an amazing value break in the heart of Umbria, go. The owners are lovely: they organise trips, tend their farm and look after you amazingly, whether solo... More

First of all, I'm neither from Pennsylvania nor new York, and I don't know manuele's girlfriend (see next review) I'm from London, awright??!! Loved this place. Like most people here I extended my stay. It is a hostel, so there may be people of any ages staying here. While I was there, most were travellers aged about 25 and we... More

Disclaimer first. We are a family of four in a motorhome. Aged 41 and two kids aged 6 and 2. and only spent one night here. In saying that we have been travelling for 8 months and in my 20s spent 3 years backpacking etc around the world. This is a hostel that is a 15 minute walk to the... More

Perugia Farmhouse is totally different to any other hostel. Out of the city it has beauty of the italian countryside. There is so much to do there within walking distance, when I was there Manuele and Laura organised wine tasting, beer tasting, a pizza night, and a BBQ night. I found it hard to leave as the pool was so... More
