I stayed here with my mother for two nights this August. The staff were friendly and always remembered which room keys we were without asking. Rooms were clean and compact and we asked for room with a balcony which had a spectacular view over Perugia. A short (though steep) walk up to the old town and nearby good pizza restaurants.... More

We loved this hotel. Stayed here for a week. Nice room with a view and was very quiet. On the edge of the old town and a comfortable walk in to the main sights. Thanks to Maurizio and Michael for their excellent service. Would stay here again.

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel in Perugia and I got the room next to the one I had before; it was because of a better WiFi quality, they said, which was indeed the case. It also had a bigger bathroom. The air conditioning I didn't use because it was not that hot during the nights.... More

We stayed two nights here during the jazz festival. We had the annex and air conditioned. They had excellent service. We phoned from the bus station unsure on how to get to the hotel and they actually came and got us. The room was clean and quiet. It is in the old city and within easy walking to the sites... More

Lovely, simple, clean hotel. I had room 236-- with a terrace and fantastic views of the countryside. Only problem was that there was a teeny-tiny shower and no hot water when I wanted it. In the morning the staff came to the room and made hot water appear. Quiet in a loud city. Ask for a room with a view.... More

A good, moderately priced option, just off the beaten path in Perugia, down a (usually, see below) quiet pedestrian alley. Clean room, large bathroom, about 10 minute walk to city center. No air conditioning, but that was not a major issue during out stay, since the evenings were delightfully mild. Accommodating owners/staff, small (but nice) garden for breakfasts and/or late... More

Great attention. The room was perfect. We went during the jazz festival with our little two year old child. We had a great time and Mario made us feel like we were at home. Great location also. Don't hesitate.

We were travelling round as a family (mum plus 2 grown up daughters) and wanted a reasonably priced sure bet place to stay in Perugia. The Hotel Signa was lovely. Very comfortable and clean, with lovely friendly helpful staff. We were offered an upgrade of room on arrival for only 5 euros extra per night, which we took. This meant... More

I visited Perugia alone mainly for a jazz concert. The hotel's location was interesting and perfect for both jazz festival and sightseeing (including Archaeological Museum just opposite which I sadly didn't have time for). Very nice and helpful people, speaking English, good atmosphere, breakfast outside (or inside if you wish). My room was an 'economy' one, which was exactly what... More

A great 2 * hotel just outside the main centre of Perugia but within easy walking distance of everything. After reading all the reviews we paid the extra & had a room with a small terrace & great views on the second floor - it was worth it ! Mario, the owner, was very helpful. Parking on the Main Street... More
