We spent 5 nights at the Hotel La Rosetta in mid September. The rooms are clean and spacious, compared to European standards; the staff is very helpful and attentive. We also recommend their restaurant.....we had delicious dinners and lessons on "abbinamento" (how to complement a meal with the perfect wine). We rated this hotel as average compared to the other hotels we stayed in. We had trouble with the air conditioning unit and after several tries at fixing it, we were moved to another room. We were disappointed with this grande dame. Obviously, it was once a beauitful hotel but it has fallen on harder times. Nothing felt new or fresh. Breakfast was average. Great location, though, in the heart of Perugia. Next time I would stay in the country. more
