Only one out of four lights were working in the bathroom and two lights out of five working in the bedroom - no doubt the bulbs were blown. Clothes cupboards filthy, no tea or coffee or kettle facilities. There was no explanation of hotel facilities available when we booked in and no explanatory leaflets in the room. We knew that... You may stop infront of the hotel for check in and give the laguage. Then you park in a public garage [17eu] which is below the Walls but you can easily reach it on foot via escalators. The main pedestrian street begins from the hotel. The hotel is an old building with perfectly renovated rooms which preserve their old looks. Nice... More

One of the most enjoyable complete meals I can remember in this part of the world. Seated on a table in the medieval courtyard the service and food was amazing. The Potato and onion frittata was very tasty as was the egg omelet and truffles. This was followed by grilled lamb and roasted potatoes. This restaurant also has a very... More

When I think of dinner in Italy, I remember the Courtyard of Hotel LA Rosetta. Two Foodies from NYC, drove from Florence to have dinner at LA Rosetta. They were encouraged by Florentine friends to go. On their recommendation, we took our two young children and off we went. Peruvia is wonderful in itself. The experience we had dining in... More

My wife, 95-year old Mother, younger daughter and her husband and their two young children, and I visited Perugia for three days. My daughter and son-in-law lived there for ten months right after their wedding in New Mexico. La Rosetta is very clean with a very friendly staff. The restaurant is excellent. Although it was very pricey, it was a... More

Very unsuspecting location, just up what looks like a side street - but somehow feels very welcoming! Hotel rooms are clean, reasonably well maintained, and furnished in a seemingly lavish old style decor. All mod cons are available even if relatively dated. The bedding and towels etc did smell slightly dusty, and there was a damp/musty smell in the room.... More

Perugia is an interesting town, go there, but do not stay at La Rosetta. The only good things to say about La Rosetta: Location on the main plaza is great. The Ladies who serve breakfast are sweet. La Rosetta's staff has been there for 20+ years, it shows, they are tired, resentful, and not helpful. This Hotel advertises itself as... More
