This hotel is centrally located in historic heart of Perugia. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful in every way, providing information about local restaurants, train and bus schedules, local tours, and everything necessary to make your stay enjoyable. Minutes from mobile escalators taking one to mini metro and train station, or via another mobile escalator to Bus Station taking you... More

This is a charming, well run, old hotel with lots of character. It is conveniently located a few minutes walk from the Piazza IV Novembre, Piazza Italia, Piazza Repubblica, National Gallery (Palazzo dei Priori), San Lozenzo Cathedral, and lots of other places of interest all within walking distance, cafes, restaurants, chocolate shops and many boutiques. HOW TO GET THERE We... More

I stayed at Hotel Fortuna over the May bank holiday along with 10 other family members. The hotel couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, the reception staff are brilliant. On the Saturday night it was my mums 55th birthday. They helped me arrange a restaurant and a birthday cake at the restaurant, before our arrival over email, which was... More

In a mediaeval palazzo, the hotel has a sense of the past and the comforts of the present. Literally in the center, a few meters from the main street of Perugia. While the breakfast is a bit sparse, bt the location (frescoed vaulted ceiling) and the expresso more than compensated (and the acoustics are also quite good, you can actually... More

This is a real nice hotel located right in the middle of Perugia, convenient to the city square, shops and restaurants. The hotel entrance is small, but the rooms are quite spacious, with very nice and modern bathroom facilities. There are 4 or 5 floors with one small lift, which is not too good for those who do not like... More

We have just spent a week at the hotel Fortuna and it was amazing, at first I wasn't sure although I chose it because it is positioned in the middle of Perugia old town which is beautiful. As we walked into the lobby you could see it was classy and the staff couldn't be more helpful. We were offered a... More

This is a very old and beautiful hotel. We only stayed one night but wished we had booked in for longer. Parking is an issue but a great place to start or finish your stay in Italy if flying into/out of Perugia. It is in the old part of town at the top of the hill with great restaurants and... More

Dear Sirs, what a pity you stayed only one night but you had the chance to enjoy our hotel in the heart of the historical centre of Perugia and our beautiful city full of panoramical views and very good restaurants with typical umbrian cooking. We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff wereall efficient , friendly and helpful especially the girls on reception. Our rooms were quiet , clean and dry with nice ensuite showers and TV's. There was also a lovely roof terrace and a really good buffet breakfast. This hotel was also excellent value for money.

Overall I was impressed with my stay at the Fortuna for the price charged. Service on check-in was excellent and I received very warm welcome. The room itself was spotless, well furnished and very comfortable overall. Breakfast service was quick and friendly and the overall food offering at breakfast very good by Italian standards. I have two small comments which... More

Right in the middle of the old town with friendly staff and a warm room that was a pleasure to come back to for a post sightseeing doze. It is an old hotel with many original features. I would certainly return.
