This is a very old and beautiful hotel. We only stayed one night but wished we had booked in for longer. Parking is an issue but a great place to start or finish your stay in Italy if flying into/out of Perugia. It is in the old part of town at the top of the hill with great restaurants and... More

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff wereall efficient , friendly and helpful especially the girls on reception. Our rooms were quiet , clean and dry with nice ensuite showers and TV's. There was also a lovely roof terrace and a really good buffet breakfast. This hotel was also excellent value for money.

Overall I was impressed with my stay at the Fortuna for the price charged. Service on check-in was excellent and I received very warm welcome. The room itself was spotless, well furnished and very comfortable overall. Breakfast service was quick and friendly and the overall food offering at breakfast very good by Italian standards. I have two small comments which... More

Right in the middle of the old town with friendly staff and a warm room that was a pleasure to come back to for a post sightseeing doze. It is an old hotel with many original features. I would certainly return.

I seldom give three star hotels a five star rating, but this is a great three star hotel. The location is great. The decor is done in early Italian style with no detail overlooked. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. The hotel also has these great sitting rooms and... More

Six of us stayed in this hotel for one night. The hotel is right in the city center; this is an old style hotel. Our rooms were good of a size and quality. You can walk out of the hotel and into the city center where there are a range of restaurants and chocolate shops, ancient buildings, the museum and... More

Dear Sirs, Thanks your kind words: as you said, we are situated right in the middle of the historical centre where you can taste our “famous” chocolate in one of the cafes and our typical umbriam cooking in one of the restaurants of the centre. Cathedral and Museums are all in a walking distance from our hotel, and, as you... More

The Fortuna hotel is an old-style charming hotel located downtown Perugia on the top of a hill, close to the main ancient buildings, the museums, the cathedral and the restaurants. Rooms generally have a very nice view and enjoy very good furniture. The hotel has a furnished library. The breakfast is high quality and rich.

My wife, our daughter and I spent (alas!) only one night at the Fortuna Hotel in Perugia. We loved it. It is magnificently located very, very close to the old city's main thoroughfare. Our room was large (it even had a threadmill!), spotlessly clean and comfortable. The building (a very, very old construction) has historical displays to show its origins... More

We took a taxi up from the train station, It was getting late and I had forgotten about the tram. If arriving by train, look into that option. We came to Perugia for the EuroChocolate festival and to experience Umbria. The hotel was the perfect setting for both. My husband requested a room with a view, and we were given... More
