but,not only the location makes this place special, the staff are tremendously obliging, particularly since we had a rental car we weren't sure what to do with. If you are driving, be aware that access to the hotel's street is blocked by a post in the middle of the street- later, after much angst, we learned that all that's required... More

Hotel Fortuna is a good option if you want to be in the heart of Perugia. Charming and cosy. Just one step away from the center, it was good for a short weekend. Considering its an old building it was quite well kept although the room was a bit poor and simple, different and smaller from the pictures. The bathroom... More

We stayed in a huge and comfortable room for 4. The hotel couldn't be in a better location and has a very historic feel. We sat on our balcony in the morning, overlooking the medieval town, listening to an orchestra performing in a nearby building. An amazing experience! But what was really special about this hotel was the quality of... More

Our party of 4 booked 3 rooms in the hotel. We wanted a hotel in the middle of Perugia and this is just off the main street. The price was extremely reasonable. The rooms were very comfortable with en suite and the usual facilities. Breakfast was a wide variety of continental goods (cereals, ham, cheese, croissants, pastries, fruit, bread, rolls)... More

First of all, the staff is top-notch. They are friendly and caring. I needed a room at a very busy time, and they did everything to make my stay comfortable and wonderful. The public spaces are terrific. There is a large reading room on the third floor with a terrace, and a roof terrace. The breakfast room is great and... More

Couldn't get more central to the lovely old historical centre of Perugia. Takes some finding as it is located via a narrow 'no through' street and a dropped bollard! Very old building with lots of historical charm. Our room was at the top of the building with close access to the roof terrace so lots of views back over Perugia... More

We were offered the choice of a standard or executive room. The standard was just fine. Other then a tired mattress and a weak WiFi connection the room was just fine. The bathroom was functional if a little dated but for a three star hotel it was absolutely acceptable. The breakfast was copious and of good quality. The personnel were... More

Very cozy hotel in the old downtown of Perugia. The venue is near to all important administration, culture, education and transport locations and also to the most important historical landmarks of the city. The building, the rooms and the lobbies on every floor are very charming.

Hotel Fortuna is a quaint and charming hotel near the central piazza in Perugia. We spent two nights there and it was not long enough. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and our room, although needing a bit of a furniture upgrade, was very comfortable, clean, and a good size. We had a lovely outlook over the rooftops of... More

Excellent location in the centre of city life but not noisy. Our room onto the street was lovely, with frecoes and polished wooden floors. Fresh modern bathroom with bath -lovely after a long day walking. Rooftop terrace real bonus as you could buy local wine and enjoy - this was not allowed in other hotels on our 15 day trip.... More
