I seldom give three star hotels a five star rating, but this is a great three star hotel. The location is great. The decor is done in early Italian style with no detail overlooked. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. The hotel also has these great sitting rooms and... More

Six of us stayed in this hotel for one night. The hotel is right in the city center; this is an old style hotel. Our rooms were good of a size and quality. You can walk out of the hotel and into the city center where there are a range of restaurants and chocolate shops, ancient buildings, the museum and... More

Dear Sirs, Thanks your kind words: as you said, we are situated right in the middle of the historical centre where you can taste our “famous” chocolate in one of the cafes and our typical umbriam cooking in one of the restaurants of the centre. Cathedral and Museums are all in a walking distance from our hotel, and, as you... More

Well...city center....position is the best asset of this hotel. Rooms: friends tell me that some can be really bad (small); mine was good, I had one of the fifth floor, perfect view; others do not have that However..... the bathroom was really cold (november) due to the the very small heater, and the limited heating hours Small and uncomfortable shower... The Fortuna hotel is an old-style charming hotel located downtown Perugia on the top of a hill, close to the main ancient buildings, the museums, the cathedral and the restaurants. Rooms generally have a very nice view and enjoy very good furniture. The hotel has a furnished library. The breakfast is high quality and rich.

My wife, our daughter and I spent (alas!) only one night at the Fortuna Hotel in Perugia. We loved it. It is magnificently located very, very close to the old city's main thoroughfare. Our room was large (it even had a threadmill!), spotlessly clean and comfortable. The building (a very, very old construction) has historical displays to show its origins... More

Dear Mr Juan, We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay in our hotel, especially your room and the old city. As you said you can drive until the entrance of the hotel and choose among some easy options to park the car. You are right, you have noticed all the signs of the historacal transformations that took places in... More

We took a taxi up from the train station, It was getting late and I had forgotten about the tram. If arriving by train, look into that option. We came to Perugia for the EuroChocolate festival and to experience Umbria. The hotel was the perfect setting for both. My husband requested a room with a view, and we were given... More

Dear Mrs Tiffany, we thank you so much to speak about us so kindly. As you said there are several and easy ways to reach the historical centre from the railway station: by taxi, bus or minimetro. We are in the heart of the historical centre near Corso Vannucci but, as you said, at the same time in a very... More

This wonderful Albergo occupies an old building in the historical center of Perugia. Some parts of it go back as far as the 13th century, with lovely frescoes and arches. The rooms are nice, clean and elegantly furnished. The roof terrace offers panoramic views of old Perugia. The staff are most kind and helpful, and gave us great tips about... More

Dear Sirs, thanks for your lovely and kind words, we have appreciated so much. You are right, our building is an old house-tower of the Middle Ages with original frescoes of different periods. Next time, if you come back here we have a room for you, and it will be a surprise!Best Regards More

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. It's old, but clean. No rooms look alike, a little confusing to find our way in the halls in the beginning. Nice breakfast hall, but a little crowded. Simple, but OK brealfast buffet. Bathroom furniture was a little old and worn. Location is great, just right in the old town area. The narrow street... More

This was our second stay at Hotel Fortuna. It is a lovely old building right in the heart of the historical centre. Rooms are very basic but each floor has a beautiful sitting area. Breakfast ample. Reasonable price.

The hotel is in one of the original town towers - the building & surrounding street are charming. Located just down the steps from Piazza Italia or a few metres from Corso Vannucci/Piazza Repubblica you can't beat the location - be warned that the area can get very noisy at night.
