Great location for exploring Perugia and a lovely characterful building with mini staircases and ceilling and wall frescos. The bathroom was a little tired but clean. Breakfast was fine if a little unimaginative.

Dear Sirs, we thank you for your kind review, it is a pleasure to read how you have well described our building. Our breakfast is a continental one with proposals both sweet and savory, fresh fruit and cafeteria, we'd like to know what is your ideal breakfast to enrich our buffet, you can also write to us in private. We spent several days at this great quiet hotel just a short walk from the plaza at the top of the old historic section of town. The hotel offers exceptional value and includes a great breakfast buffet. The breakfast room is large and historical. There is a very nice rooftop space that offers great views of the surrounding area, as... More

This hotel is in a beautiful medieval alley just behind the main street of Perugia, Corso Vannucci. Corso Vannucci is traffic free, a great shopping street with all historical buildings and the main tourist attractions such as Collegio del Cambio and Collegio della Mercanzia, The Umbrian National Gallery, Piazza IV Novembre etc. The hotel is in an ancient building and... This hotel, accessed by way of a very narrow, cobbled winding street is a truly authentic building (said once to have been a house of "ill repute"). Rooms are clean, tidy and have fridge (that works), great comfortable bed, decent TV and beautiful bathroom with a very good walk-in shower. Great service from the front-desk. Easy access to beautiful walking... More

My boyfriend and I hopped the train to Perugia for the Eurochocolate Festival just a few days ago. We chose Hotel Fortuna as it is conveniently situated in old town Perugia and it truly could not have been in a better location. We found the hotel very well, about a ten minute taxi ride from the train station. Hotel staff... More

A tag difficult to get to (you have to ring the bell to get to the restricted street) and you will need to have the hotel garage service park your car. Everything is within walking distance. The staff is generally helpful. Make sure to enquire about garage opening hours that are a bit strange. Overall, good value for money.

Our one-night stay was a little disappointing, though not bad. The room (on the front) had NO view whatsoever (a wall). A/C did not work, so the open windows were noisy. Oddly enough, there was an old stationary bike in the room! (???) Very strange. Included breakfast was nice. Location was fantastic.

We stayed here for two separate nights in sept. The staff were very helpful and polite. Our room was at the front of the hotel which turned out to be a ver noisy place to be. We were so tired we did manage some sleep but the bed was uncomfortable so it was not a relaxing night. The room was... More

Stayed 10 days in an excellent room: space, balcony (with roses) and mountain views. Shower designed for extraterrestrials, but humanoids can press icons 3 and 5 from top left to get a familiar shower experience. Worth paying the extra for an Executive room as some rooms have a less wonderful view, but the hotel is still amazingly central. We took... More

This is a nice hotel with very good staff. There is a rooftop terrace and an amazing library / reading room with frescos on the wall. It is very conveniently located for restaurants, bars, shopping, and museums.
