During the busy Umbria Jazz period 2015 the Sangallo Palace was once more a perfect and calm place to relax, the neutral and elegant atmosphere of the hotel makes it very easy to calm down after exploring the nearby sights of Umbria. Beverages and special umbrian and international food which were served in their own restaurant and bar were all very... More

Lovely hotel, great location. Had the most amazing group dinner, where the wait staff served us individually. The Baci chocolate mousse was decadent. Close to escalators to get you through to center of the city. Rooms were cleans and comfy. Only drawback was not enough hooks to hang our towels. Lap pool was a plus, especially on those steamy hot... More

There are many reasons to like this hotel. It has been beautifully redecorated. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable reading chairs. Bathrooms are modern, and there are plenty of outlets to charge your electronic devices. The hotel is close to the escalators that lead to the centro storico. The restaurant is superb. We had a group dinner there one night.... More

Sangallo Palace is a good choice for visitors. We stayed four nights; visited central city at the top of the hill every afternoon and evening. Access is easy -- a short walk to escalators to carry us up and then down the hill. Perugia is an old Italian hill town with massive old public buildings and cathedral; great outdoor cafe... More

Not a memorable stay. The hotel is right next to the bus station which is the view we had from our room, not very nice to say the least. The room was OK suppose, but nothing more. Perugia is a one street town where all is happening. Must say the street is charming with cafes and restaurants and lots of... More

Always a bit worried when returning to the same hotel a few years later a sthings can change. Need not have worried. We had better and more secure arrangements this time for motorcycle parking (short walk but easily accessible and locked at night) and the room shad been refurbished and that was a pleasant surprise. Hotel could not do enough... More

Found this hotel on Expedia and the price was right. We were a family of four, including two teens. I thought we were getting a "quadruple" room but actually ended up getting two adjoining rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds, so it really was a good bargain. The hotel is somewhat updated and... More

This is truly a great hotel to stay at. Rooms are comfortable, well serviced and spacious. The Breakfast room is a one of the biggest I've eaten in and I love that grand feeling you get while sitting there. It is modern and totally accommodating to today's lifestyle. Wifi is fast and rooms have a soft air conditioner, that doesn't... More

On a recent tour through Italy we had the good fortune to spend a few days at this hotel. The staff and accommodations were wonderful. Rooms were clean and modern. The hotel is just steps away from the entrance to the fortress and the many wonderful sights of Perugia.

This hotel is not to be passed up. Updated and comfortable rooms. Nice views from our second floor window overlooking a round-about. Room was sound proof, clean, and beds were perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Check out the pool! It's gorgeous! Restaurant dinner was very good. In fact we ate there again the following day! Very near all you... More
