The hotel is nice; a decent 4* in the centre of Perugia. Our room and bathroom were of a decent size, clean and comfy. The staff were professional, efficient and helpful. The hotel has a few of its own parking places and access to plenty of others. We parked in the hotel's parking lot and left the care there for... More

This is a clean, well-run, large hotel. The staff were polite and helpful. Wi-fi was very good, and free. I think the bed had the hardest mattress I have ever slept on, anywhere - that is my main complaint. The decor of the rooms is very old-fashioned (I'd say 1980s style), but it is all well-maintained and clean. My room... More

A very nice hotel right near the old city with its picture-perfect attractions. The rooms are Art Deco-ish style and very clean. The stuff is fluent in English and admirably efficient. On the downside, I can mention the lack of tea/coffee making facilities, the lack of bedside lights and switches and substantial amount of water spilled in the bathroom due... More

This charming hotel is very well located close to the 4 escalators that bring you to the city centre, which is unbelievably convenient. We had room 511 overlooking the roundabout, but it never got too loud. The staff, especially Umberto and Andrea, were especially and printed off train schedules, recommended sights to see, and provided helpful advice about everything. Our... More

This hotel was a very nice surprise for me, which I didn’t expect at. It is not located near the rail station, but rather close to the Old Town which you can reach it by foot but using the escalators system as the hotel is located at the middle of the hilly road towards Old Town. Also the hotel is... More

For the first visit in Perugia from Milano after the business. I felt comfortable with green trees and mountains. Yes! Perugia is called " Green Heart" in Italy. Perugia is very popular, because Japanese famous soccer player , NAKATA stayed there.

My wife and I traveled to Italy for business ... My wife had an opportunity to explore during the day. The Sangallo offered a spectacular location. The staff were extremely friendly and particularly helpful. They are to be commended!

Last summer my best friend and I decided on the spur of the moment to visit Italy at Christmastime. We decided on Perugia because it is centrally located and easily accessible to Roma, Florence, and some of the other cities of interest. In researching hotels on another site, I saw that the Sangallo Palace received top reviews from guests for... More

We returned to visit the first city we lived in in Italy. The hotel is very well run, and impeccably clean. The rooms are large and comfortable, the pool and exercise room well equipped and maintained. The hotel's location near the city center makes it perfect for taking the escalators through the ancient underground city into the city center itself.
