The hotel was very comfortable and all the staff were very helpful and cheerful. The location is excellent and the swimming pool provided a welcome respite at the end of a long day of sight-seeing. The bedrooms and en suite bathrooms were large and well appointed and we really enjoyed having a balcony which overlooked the Umbrian countryside. All six... More

The hotel is situated next to the bus station and three busy roads. The reception was not very friendly and when we asked for a room on a quite side we were told we had to take our assigned room. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but a bit outdated. We were not happy at all with the restaurant. The... More

Perfect location, clean, reasonable rates and the friendlest front desk staff always willing to help; Andrea I, Humberto and the rest of the staff gave us excelent tips and advise that made our family truly enjoy Umbria one of the most beautiful regions in central Italy. Stay in Perugia and visit: Gubio, Asisi, Todi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Spello, Trevi, etc.. The... More

While it 'does the job', it's not a luxurious hotel by international standards. Its decor is outdated (70's style) and it needs a lot of modernising to be rated as a true four-star hotel. The owner works on reception and found her quite rude (questioning why I had booked a room for one person as my friend who lives in... More

We arrived at the Sangallo Palace without reservations and were very happy that we found the place. It was fairly priced and the rooms were very comfortable and good sized. The front desk was very helpful and gave us good recommendations to city center restaurants. We ended up staying two nights rather than one since Perugia is so centrally located... More

The hotel is situated between the central bus station and the escalators to the old city centre. Rooms are ok, the breakfast buffet adequate and the hotel staff helpful (and to my surprise fluent in English). During the first night there, I was to tired to go to the city centre for dinner and stayed there. The food was very... More

This hotel was the choice of our tour company for our one night in Perugia. It was a great location for reaching the old part of town and enjoying an afternoon stroll around the square. With the exception of the hard bed, the room exceeded expectations. It's BYOW (bring your own washcloth), but all other personal amenities were provided. We... More

At first the hotel seemed a little dated and in need of refurbishment but it was all functional and clean. Rooms are nice but not huge. Bathroom OK. Breakfast buffet was very good, as was service there and at reception. Location is convenient being near the start of the escalators going up to the Centro, and across from the coach... More

Used this venue for 5 nights as a base whilst touring Umbria. We did not have our own transport and relied upon public transport to tour the region. We could not have picked a better venue. The Hotel is situated right across the road from the main Bus Depot that services not only the local district but also the region.... More

As previous reviewers have mentioned, Sangallo Palace is perfectly located right beside the bus terminal and a walk away from the old city. For Eurochocolate, it was ideal as we were far enough from the crowds to relax but near enough Piazza Italia to feel comfortable shopping there. Good points: 1. Our room was fully furnished, with a double bed,... More
