Francesco and Anne were so helpful and friendly. Travelling on my own, with little Italian language, I felt so wonderfully welcomed and had the joy of the room(s) at the top of the tower. Beautifully furnished and so comfortable. The evening meals were a delight, beautifully presented and probably the best food I have eaten in Italy... and I have... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Torre Valbiancara. The rooms are in a medieval watchtower that has recently been fully restored, so you really feel surrounded by history! The setting is also beautiful: you're surrounded in all directions by lush Umbrian countryside and our apartment, Serpeverde, had a terrace with spectacular views. Despite being in quite a quiet area,... More

Beautifully renovated medieval tower! Perfect to visit Umbria ( Perugia , Assisi,..) Most welcoming hosts! Beautifully decorated rooms / apartments. Delicious dinner and fantastic breakfast for a really affordable price. What a nice mixture of what Italy (Francesco) and France (Anne) have to offer! Thank you.

This place is out of this world! Such a beautiful place. A bit difficult to find but so worth the drive up. Very quiet, flowers everywhere and an amazing garden. Modern facilities but the place has real character to it. The owner is super nice! The best part of this place is the food. I have eaten in quite a... More

My wife and I were impressed by this exquisite bed and breakfast. It is a restored and extended stone masterpiece perched up a hill in dense green forrest with breath taking scenery. It is peaceful yet close enough to the riches of this part of Bella Italia. We cannot speak highly enough of our hosts Francesco and Ana. Nothing was... More

This is an absolutely amazing place to choose to stay. The owner Francesco is extraordinarily welcoming and can never do enough to please his guests. He and his wife provided an excellent dinner made in their own kitchen with multpile personalized touches, including working around allergies. The three course meal was sustainable and delicious, all while maintaining a sense of... More

My wife and I stayed at the Torre while touring Italy in May 2013. Don't forget to bring a GPS, because it is hard to find but well worth the effort. As so many other guests have stated, it was fabulous. Anne is an amazing chef. She uses fresh ingredients and the presentation, texture and taste are perfect. I thought... More

My husband and I stayed at the Torre Valbiancara for three nights recently. We stayed in the Tassorosso Room (Red Room), which is a 2-story apartment at the top of the tower. It was clean and extremely spacious, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living room. As others have noted, Francesco is extremely hospitable and served delicious breakfasts consisting... My wife and I stayed at the Torre Valbiancara for three nights in October 2013. We had a wonderful two bedroom apartment on the second floor of a medieval tower with a balcony overlooking the hills of Umbria. Francesco the owner went out of his way to make us comfortable. We had two excellent dinners as well. It is a... More

I found this place via Tripadvisor, and booked it based on its' reviews. Let me just add that they are not lying, this place is seriously out of this world. My husband and I stayed in the Slytherin apartment for three nights, the apartment was well equipped, beautifully decorated and very spacious. Francesco and Anne are amazing hosts, they shuttled...
