Although the location high on a hill overlooking Umbrian valley's is spectacular, and the room is more than adequate, there is a certain coldness in the service that precludes five stars. Perhaps others would appreciate the formality more than we do. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food.

This hotel is in a fantastic location with views to die for. From the hotel you can walk around the pedestrianised city centre and visit the cathedral. The staff were very good and very helpful. It is an upmarket hotel that sells Faberge and Cartier. Breakfast was good but a bit pricey. The pool in the basement has a glass... More

A luxurious palace hotel perfectly situated in the centre of the beautiful city of Perugia. Our suite was large and well-furnished with a fabulous view over the Umbrian countryside. The spa was fun to use: a pool in the basement with Etruscan remains visible through glass in the floor. The staff were as good as one might expect from a... More

Superb hotel in prime location, right in city centre. Hotel takes care of parking your car for you if you pre-book a space. Loved the feeling that this hotel was once a grand palace.. amazing views right outside the front door ! Pool looked beautiful but didn't have time to use it unfortunately, nor did we eat at the hotel... More

You must stay here. After a long trip, what a pleasant surprise. Fabulous service; without exception all the staff were there to help, advise and recommend; complimentary surprises during the week along with a room that opened to a view over terracotta roof lines to the Umbrian landscape beyond. We had a brilliant dinner there - have never experienced such... More

This is an old school, elegant hotel that has an older decor versus modern. Upon arrival, Hassan greeted us and immediately had someone assist us with both our car and luggage. Later, he also recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. Our room was nice and had an amazing view of Perugia and a small balcony. The bed was adequate; however,... More

Dear Guests, thank you for the time spent for your kind feedback, which, honestly, it is a bit difficult to interpret. Except for the shower in the bathroom, your comments are all very positive but you finish your review saying that probably you would not stay again in our hotel. It would have been very useful for me to know... More

The Brufani is the best hotel (by number of stars) you may find in the city and off the peak season it values all the money you spend. The Collins restaurant is supposed to be an excellent choice for dinner (I couldn't go because it was fully booked). The swimming pool over the ancient ruins is a must after a... More

This is a large city centre palace type hotel in a great location, at the top of the hill, in the renaissance centre of the city. Side rooms have a view over ancient roof tops to the Tiber and the plain beyond the city boundaries. Expect some things to be a little worn and the décor in places dated compared... More

Dear Guests, your review for me and my staff is probably one of the best we have ever received. It is not for the total score (which is 4 and not 5), but because I know what was wrong when you arrived and myself with all my staff wanted to change your initial dissatisfaction into a total final positive feedback...
