We stayed in room 236 for 5 nights in April, having been upgraded to a deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the Umbrian countryside. The room itself was huge, with traditional padded gold wallpaper and with floor to ceiling double doors opening on to a juliette balcony. We arrived to a generous complimentary fruit bowl and bottle of local red... More

This is the place to stay for the old town of Perugia. It is an ideal base to discover the medieval streets and history of this lovely old city. The hotel is very welcoming, very clean and comfortable. My room (236) had a nice balcony overlooking the beautiful Umbrian countryside, it is well worth the few extra pounds. It is... More

Very lucky to have a stunning view from our balcony (double room), so request it if not specified in your booking. Perfect location at the top and in the heart of Perugia. Staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean and well maintained. Be aware; parking is 20e per night. Wonderful stay! Hurray! (Didn't try the G+T)

My young son and I booked this hotel without too much forethought or research, we were staying just the one night and moving on. It was wonderful, real charm, history and the underground swimming pool is something my little boy still talks about a year later. The rooms are very well decorated and maintained. Food excellent and the service impeccable.... More

I strongly recommend this beautiful hotel to everybody who would like to stay in Perugia! I stayed there 2 weeks ago and it was fantastic! The staff of the hotel was professional and polite, they handled my requests professionally and helped me in everything. My room (junior suite) was very comfortable because it had a large living room area, a... More

Perugia is a great place for a weekend visit with its history (museum, art collection, ancient city centre) nearby chocolate factory, where you can make your own professional chocolates under supervision of an expert chocolatier, and Assissi with its magnificent basilica and tomb of St Francis. THE place to stay in Perugia is the Brufani Palace, a 5 star luxury... More

I just returned from a six night stay at the Brufani Palace Hotel. Upon my arrival after a 7+hour flight, I was warmly welcomed by the day manager, Stefano. I was escorted to my room by the bellman and was pleasantly surprised to see that my standard room had been upgraded to a junior suite with beautiful views. The room,... More

We stayed in Perugia for one night to take part to an important concert. The hotel is ideally located just in upper old town. The hotel offers very nice lounges with spectacular views on Umbrian hills and Perugia downtown. There are no parking facilities and you are obliged to book the hotel garage for € 20,00 per day or a... More

Charming and picturesque. The view is outstanding. The breakfast was beautifully presented. The staff was very helpful, accommodating and hospitable. I hope to return again to Perugia. I would again stay at the Brufani Palace Hotel.

A great hotel in the old part of the city. The pool grotto is amazing, the sauna, steam room and showers very good and the work-out equipment spare, but well taken care of and there was certainly enough of it while I was there that there was no waiting. Might not be the case in a busier season. Restaurant is... More
