A short taxi ride from the train station brings us to attentive service in a lovely location. The view is terrific, the beds super comfortable and everything is neat as a pin. We did not have dinner here because we like to explore but the breakfast was very good (excellent cappuccinos) and the waiters attentive if a little standoffish. Not... More

We stayed in a Junior suite and had a big room with everything we needed. Our room overlooked the countryside of Perugia and the views were magnificent. The hotel included a breakfast that was outstanding with plenty to eat. Also just down the street from the center of town. Great location, terrific value and would definitely stay again

This is a delightful and elegant 'olde worlde' hotel in an excellent central position, and is very well placed for exploring all that this charming city has to offer. The public rooms were comfortable and offered good views, and our classically decorated suite with it's silk fabric walls and marble bathroom was a pleasure to return to after long days... More

Fantastic location, great room that is plenty big for one person. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Although I did not swim in their unusual pool in the grotto, it looked like fun and is certainly unique. I did not eat at their restaurant so cannot comment on food. Walls between rooms a bit on thin side--as I write this now,... More

It helps if you have a car but the hotel is charming and elegant. You are made to feel very comfortable in your large room. The common rooms are lovely for having a meeting or a little chat. There are nice views and the grounds are wonderful to walk around. It was quiet but you will need a car.

Romantic five stars hotel in the heart of Perugia city center, nearby all the top attractions of the city. Great service and fantastic greeting from the restaurant. Excellent restaurant. Room clean and well furnished.. perphas with many years on the back.. Nice small romantic pool in the basement. Strongly advisable.

Nice and nostalgic hotel with lovely view and very large and comfortable rooms. It is an ideal hotel if you are touring Umbria. It is centrally located. The front desk people are extremely nice and helpful. It is a five star hotel, but I think it is slightly overrated. Most likely the fifth star was given for Her Majesty the... More

I suspect there are times when this property would be too expensive for me/us. We got a good deal from one of the standard hotel booking sights. But wow what an elegant, classic place. Service, from check in, everything including such prompt room service for ice for my ailing knee, was impeccable. Great view form balcony. Just plain elegant and... More

Brufani is a gorgeous mixture of the old and new, so close to convenient transport that you don't need a car or even a taxi. It really is an Italian palace in the historic centre and has been modernised tastefully to retain the feeling of staying in a mansion. The fabric wallcovering and heavy curtains go with the highest quality... More

Having lived in Perugia I was aware of this hotel’s reputation, so was pleasantly surprised to pre-book a room for £75 a night. We thought we’d get the smallest room, but better to have the worst room in the best hotel, than vice versa? Having eschewed the Eu20 a night parking offer and ditched our hire car at the bottom...
