“The perfect place to start your tour of Umbria”

The Brufani is the perfect hotel. Set high on the edge of the walled city of Perugia, you are welcomed with beautiful sweeping views of the old town, mountains and valleys. It is quiet, yet close to the most delicious restaurants with wonderful shopping. There is a very unique pool in the caverns of the hotel that shouldn't be missed.

“Expensive but very nice.”

This is a wonderful historic old building with fabulous views out over the rooftops and the surrounding valley. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was great. “Luxury without air conditioner”

An imponent hotel, in a beautiful central square but more imponent than confortable. Pillows were just tolerables and breakfast just so-so. And last but not least, no air conditioner in our room. On the other hand, rooms and bathroom are large.

“Location and service and a good deal”

Spectacular views, excellent breakfast buffet, comfortable and clean rooms, efficient service, centrally located. Will come again. Building is very nice, old but with all modern comforts. Internet prices are pretty competitive.

“A great place in Perugia with a historic touch”

This hotel is a great place in Perugia for people having a historic taste. It is indeed decorated in a very classical and tasteful manner - perhaps the opposite of standard hotel chains such as Hiltons, Marriotts, etc.

“Seen better days...”

Hotel has a great location on the edge of the old city. However, it is past it peak. Wifi didn't even work in the lobby! Air conditioning did not work in the room; curtains need cleaning...staff pleasant enough to me, but rude to other guests.

“Great location & building but otherwise average”

Stayed 2 days in March. Got a good price for a large room with a great view. The location with panoramic views makes a stay worthwhile. However as a whole the hotel barely achieves 5* quality. It seems like the owners are milking the great old building whilst letting it and the service get run-down.
