The hotel sits at the very top of the hill on which Perugia is situated in a grand old former palace. The staff are extremely welcoming, including taking care of the car immediately it is parked outside of the hotel. The whole building has a style and grandeur from a bye-gone era, but it worked well for me. Don't stay... More

The location is great, and that's it. How anyone can say this place is opulent is beyond me. The furnishings are extremely dated and worn. Nothing has been done here. Enter to a lobby with huge.worn tacky forest green carpet (see pic). Turn to see a chair that has been soiled who knows when, and a leather chair scratched and... More

Stayed for one week in August,as soon as we arrived the staff made us feel at home. They always greeted us and remembered our names and room number. The breakfast had a great choice, the fruit juices were excellent. Our room was upgraded to a suite and we had the full works with a meal in the restaurant. Great food... More

I have been to many of the most amazing hotels in the world, and I have to put the Brufani Palace at the top 5 places I've ever stayed. The rooms, location, food, staff, and ambience create magic, but the best sign of a great hotel is that you feel like you are at home. Stay here....it is a must!... More

Although the location high on a hill overlooking Umbrian valley's is spectacular, and the room is more than adequate, there is a certain coldness in the service that precludes five stars. Perhaps others would appreciate the formality more than we do. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food.

This hotel is in a fantastic location with views to die for. From the hotel you can walk around the pedestrianised city centre and visit the cathedral. The staff were very good and very helpful. It is an upmarket hotel that sells Faberge and Cartier. Breakfast was good but a bit pricey. The pool in the basement has a glass... More

A luxurious palace hotel perfectly situated in the centre of the beautiful city of Perugia. Our suite was large and well-furnished with a fabulous view over the Umbrian countryside. The spa was fun to use: a pool in the basement with Etruscan remains visible through glass in the floor. The staff were as good as one might expect from a... More

Superb hotel in prime location, right in city centre. Hotel takes care of parking your car for you if you pre-book a space. Loved the feeling that this hotel was once a grand palace.. amazing views right outside the front door ! Pool looked beautiful but didn't have time to use it unfortunately, nor did we eat at the hotel... More

You must stay here. After a long trip, what a pleasant surprise. Fabulous service; without exception all the staff were there to help, advise and recommend; complimentary surprises during the week along with a room that opened to a view over terracotta roof lines to the Umbrian landscape beyond. We had a brilliant dinner there - have never experienced such... More
