Stayed here may 2015. nice clean friendly hotel. breakfast ok. Hotel is basic but very good for the price.3rd time here. Very good for station and buses for other areas just across the road. Airport transfer. be careful mini bus drops you off right in front of the station, the return journey the pick up is across the road to... More

I needed an inexpensive hotel for one night when I arrived in Italy, on my way to the Le Marche region the next day. The Astor Hotel was directly across a small piazza from la stazione, a welcome sight after travel from the U.S. to Rome, then train to Perugia. It was clean, with very helpful staff, and with a... Stayed here for 5 nights recently to use as a base to view a venue and also visit Rome and Florence. We chose this hotel as 100m away from train station and provided secure underground parking. It has to be said that the hotel is a bit tired and could do with updating (and is not the prettiest building in... More

After more than a month of travelling in Italy, we reckon that it will be better for us to stay near train stations as we have big suitcases. Therefore, we made a last minute change to Hotel Astor. I wish we had not... The location is great as it is right opposite the train station and only 5 minutes away... More

We were stranded in Perugia for the weekend, and the Astor was a God-send. We crossed under the street from the train station and were able to get a spacious, clean room (with a fully equipped bathroom en suite) for 2 nights at an excellent price with no reservations. Even though we were directly across from the train station, the... More

Great placing! Just in front of the station! For someone could seem a little bit noisy due to road by the hotel but for our family it is not a problem. Nice room, nice staff that offers a typical itailan breakfast with... cappucino... mmmmm! Just great!

Our family only had one night in Perugia. The Hotel Astor is very convenient to the train station (across the street - use the pedestrian tunnel) and the personnel are friendly. The rooms are only adequate, although the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was large, but there was no shower curtain on the tub and no drain plug. You had... More

Our family really appreciated how convenient this hotel is to the Perugia train station. We literally were checking into the hotel within about 5 minutes after getting off the train. There are several restaurants nearby, and the Mini Metro light rail to the city center is a quick walk from the hotel as well. We also liked "Molly", a well... More

We stayed 4 nights here. Noisy area around as rail station across the road, but very manageable with windows in room closed. Big bedroom with tidy bathroom. Air conditioned. Very good location for a day trip to Assisi...20mins on train. We also had a day trip to Orvieto which was very worth while. A newish development we had not seen... More
