This was a lovely family run hotel. Staff all helpful and friendly. Price excellent. The only problem was that there was no lift and many stairs, so be aware of that. Location was very central for most things in Perugia. Once we got to grips with the town, it only took a couple of minutes to get to the railway... More

My wife and I just spent 2 weeks at the Primavera Minihotel in Perugia, using it as our home base while we wandered for long walks around the city and ventured out by bus and train further afield. Our room had a huge terrace overlooking the tile roofs of the old city and the surrounding country side and to sit... More

Dear Tim_Wex, We are fully enjoying reading his outstanding review. We are not surprised, because of you are an exceptional person and “we can't say good enough words to thank you” :) We are very glad that you moved in admiring the swallows circling. We are in a very high position, despite other buildings that are located in different points... More

This place is great for sightseeing in Perugia. It's in a quiet location but a short walk from the heart off the old city. Although it's in an old building it's been renovated inside in a contemporary style. The room was fairly big by city centre standards, and nicely furnished. The rate also included a decent breakfast. We arrived by... More

Dear David H, a sincere thank you for being able to appreciate all the characteristics that distinguish us and to have recommended to the readers of Tripadvisor to stay only here. We also want to emphasize how important this is certosin's work that you have done by writing the particular details of what happens in the minutes preceding the arrival... More

This place is a family run hotel. They are wonderful people. The building is supposedly over 1000 years old and an elevator is not present so you will have to do some climbing but in terms of moving luggage they are beyond happy to help. It is in the old city/city center/centro historico and near many wonderful restaurants and attractions.... More

Dear lfaraha, your expression “heart in the green heart of Italy” is beautiful. Thank you for the accurate description of the building in which we are, the foundations of which back more than a thousand years ago: in fact they are medieval. For this reason we could never break, risking to destroy the frescoes that are below us on the... More

1. The staff answered e-mails before booking, helped with the directions. They were even able to understand my broken Italian, when we arrived. 2. The room was clean, warm, comfortable, quiet. There was a coffee/tea pot with tea/coffee bags, sugar, honey. Everything in the room was in good condition. There was a very helpful bath set, which included pieces for... More

We spent 3 nights at the Primavera Mini Hotel. It was a fantastic experience. It's in an old building but the bathroom was very modern, and the air conditioning was very cool. The rooms are small, but they are comfortable. The location is fantastic. It's a very quick walk up the hill to get to the main square. There are... More

Dear Mica178, thank you for your review. We are happy that you enjoyed your experience at the Primavera Mini Hotel. It's a pity that you didn't taste the breakfast buffet, but maybe you took a free offer that was in your room: croissants, marmalades, rusks, and a boiler to prepare a coffee or a tea :) We are glad that... We stayed 4 nights in the 3rd floor terrace room and had a wonderful time. Even though the room was compact for 2 people (and my partner only just fit in the small shower) and there was no lift, we enjoyed a lovely authentic Perugia experience. The room had everything...including minifridge, minisafe, kettle, table and 2 chairs, free wifi, modern... More

What a wonderful experience. If you're looking for a big hotel environment with tons of amenities this isn't the place. This is a very charming and "low key" 3 star hotel owned and managed by incredible hosts. Small, quiet and intimate but with exceptionally Italian. Very clean and the view from the 3rd floor is to die for. It even... More

Stayed in a modest small room for just under a month to attend a private Italian language school. Staff was generally wonderful especially Ms. Maria Theresa who is fluent in English and very effective, helpful , patient & kind to guests. I chose the least expensive accommodation which was very small but a great value at 33 euro's per nite... More

Dear Liz2404. Thank you very much for your kind words. It’s nice when your work is appreciated, especially because being a very small, family hotel, we care about all our guests and their satisfaction, like a family does…but not for this we are not able to solve little problems, which can occur naturally, with reliability and efficiency. We are happy... More
