Ahhh. Gubbio. Hospitality - no. Service - no. Welcome - no. Fake smiles - yes. Watching how much money they can get of your purse - yes. Closed shutters all over the town - yes. No people but racing cars and bikes in the streets - yes (no pavement) It seems that this town wakes up for a single day... more

We spent a week in Gubbio during the Ceri festival.It was an unforgetible experience. Our room was clean & spacious. The location was perfect for the festival as well as enjoying the daily activities of the town. The one draw back was that only one member of the staff was fluent in English. Shame on us for not speaking Italian. more

Located in the most romantic local community, just a couple of hours by train from Rome. Gubbio is perfect. This hotel provided a special hospitality that made the trip perfect! more
