We stayed in apartment Santa Rosa in May, 2014. It is a spacious one bedroom apartment with partial views of Piazza San Rufino and the valley below. It is a short downhill walk to Piazza del Commune. There is a pizza shop across the way for pizza, focaccia and panini and a bar around the corner with nearby restaurants in... More

We stayed a Palazzo Minciotti for our 7th trip to Italy in 8 years. The Minciotti family are wonderful hosts for their truly exceptional apartments. This time we stayed in San Lorenzo, a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a direct access to the garden terraces, even though you are on the top floor (great design, you will be amazed).... More

Please see our separate review written earlier this year for Palazzo Minciotti's 'San Lorenzo' apartment. We stayed here for 2 weeks in June 2012. This was our second visit to Assisi which we love. On our first visit we stayed outside the city but if,and when, we return again it will most certainly be to the lovely Palazzo Minciotti. We... More

Beautiful location in a traditional Assisi building. Comfortable and easy to use apartments for a week holiday. All needed services available and you are in the centre of Assisi. Friendly reception and good interface with the Minciotti family. Strongly recommended.

We stayed in Palazzo Mincioti in late September, 2011. Assisi is one of the most beautiful places in Italy and Palazzo Mincioti is one of the most beautiful spots in Assisi -- the apt. is spacious, bright, homey and cheerful and so conveniently located that you can walk to anywhere. AnnaMarie (the owner) is exceptionally accommodating. When we had trouble... More

We stayed at the Palazzo Minciotti Oct 3 and 4, 2011. The home turned hotel is beautifully decorated in antiques. The kitchen was well equiped. The bedrooms had plenty of space and being on the top floor, we had a stunning view of Assisi. Easy walking distance to all the town's shops and churches. The family, especially Anna Maria, was... I cannot say enough good things about my stay at Palazzo Minciotti. It is Italy as we Americans hope and want it to be: charming surroundings, gorgeous views, and the owners, who also live in the palazzo, are graciousness and helpfulness personified. I stayed in Santa Rosa, the smallest of the three apartments, which is huge…I was on my own,... More

Recently returned from 8 nights at the spacious, very well-equipped Santa Rosa apartment at Palazzo Minciotti in Assisi. The Palazzo is superbly located near the top of the town, near San Rufino, and just above the Piazza Commune, within easy walking distance of all of Assisi's major sights and many good restaurants and cafes. Assisi is both a multi-day destination... More

We were a group of six people and stayed in the Sofia Apartment. What a very pretty place this was. Sofia, Anna Maria and Edouardo were very gracious hosts. You must read about the history of the building, it is so interesting. There are two gardens with spectacular flowers all cultivated by Anna Maria. Turtles walk about amongst the undergrowth,... We really enjoyed our month long visit in Assisi and we absolutely loved the San Rufino apartment! My favorite part was the lovely view of Assisi. There were six of us traveling together, my husband, my mom, and our three kids (ages 10-7). The apartment had plenty of room for all of us and the kids especially enjoyed playing in... More
