I was in serious need of tranquillity and peace. The process immediately started when I booked with Ruth Davis as she arranged the taxi for me and an additional night in a wonderful hotel called 'La Posta Panoramica' www.hotelpostassisi.it/?lang=en . Nothing was too much for Ruth. 'Alle Porte del Paradiso' is a very special place with an incredible amount of... More

We lucked out when we found this hotel in Assisi. It is just off the Piazza del Comune. The proprietors are kind and want the best for their guests. The first night, we had a room overlooking the street. It was fine. The second night we were able to change to a room with a view. Wow! The balcony doors... More

I have been one night in this nice family-run hotel situated just a few steps from Piazza del comune, but I could have extended my stay. It is the centre of the town in a nice ancient building. Very good location to start your visit of the old town of Assisi. Inside is modern and rooms are clean and nicely... More

My wife and I stayed here on our last trip to Italy. The host were very nice and the rooms were fine. As a matter of fact, we had a small Hyundai and they let us park it in their garage across the street for the two days we were there. Being in such an old building it was like... More

Paolo and Paola define warm-hearted, old-fashioned generous hospitality and care. Marvelous views from the restaurant. A Terrific annex that in a 12th century convent is great for groups to have the experience of living in a charming sector of Assisi. The annex has a special, beautiful walled garden to sit and enjoy the sunshine and views. They also own the... More

We found this hotel a few years ago and have stayed there each time in Assisi. Centrally located, clean rooms not too far from parking right on the bus line. Very nice people run and work here, but few speak any English. For us it was fun trying to communicate. I might be difficult for some people

This was the second time we've stayed at this nice little family-run hotel situated just a few steps from Piazza Della's Commune, the upper piazza in Assisi. Paolo, the owner, is a wonderful, customer-service focused man. Although he speaks very little English, he is eager to help his guests in any way he can. On our most recent trip, Paolo... More

This is a great little hotel run by a friendly family, located up near the town center so close to everything. The family doens't speak English and even the college-aged kid assigned that duty is not so good, but what the heck; they are very friendly and even let me park in the father's coveted garage spot for a small... Terrific little hotel located near the center of town. Run by a friendly family with little expertise in English, but didn't matter. Owner even parked my car in his coveted garage spot overnight (small fee). Views out the back of the valley are stunning. Heads up: no air conditioning. We were there in May and open windows cooled us off... More
