By chance I found this hotel, and based on my sixth sense, I booked it.... My comments: 1) Hotel is good, but not in the centre of Assisi, and you need to walk about 400m, uphill to the nearest point, that is St Francesco's church.....but for me, if was good, as I walked a lot. 2) Hotel environment is very... We stayed here before travelling on for a wedding. Had a lovely stay, people were great, pool area was lovely and quiet. Would certainly go back. Breakfast wasnt amazing, but to be quite honest in that heat i didnt mind as i never eat alot during the day abroad.

I chose this hotel by reading the information on the web. What convinced me was the discounted price (65 € the double room), combined with a good average rating by customers. The hotel is characterized by antique furniture, everywhere present Here are the pros and cons of the property. Pros: friendly staff, comfortable room, good value for money (as already... More

From the miserable man who showed us to our basic room with the kitchen extractor fan outside our window which went on and off all night (do not take room no. 3!) and who could never even muster a 'buongiorno', to the mosquitos surrounding the pool (I was bitten to death - most hotels now have facilities for dealing with... Nestled between the Basilica Santa Maria di Angeli and the Basilica of St. Francesco you can walk up or down the beautiful countryside road to explore both in one day. I would give yourself a few days. Tres Esse is inexpensive, has a gorgeous pool on the hill overlooking this Umbrian area. Breakfasts are wonderful. Friday night dinner was excellent... More

This hotel is conveniently located to Assisi, and has a beautiful setting overlooking the valley. The facilities are vey nice, and there is a nice sized pool which is good for exercise. The price is reasonable. Assisi is beautiful, and worth the time to see.

We stayed in this quiet hotel/agriturismo for 3 nights. It is within 15 min. walk from the Basilica of Francesco and you are outside the business of the city. The rooms are a little basic, but our room was spacious. We were first offered room 10, which is small and dark and is actually the room for disabled persons. This... More

Fireflies light the way up the dark road between the old city of Assisi and the Country House. The views of the Basilica and surrounding countryside are breathtaking. The grounds and gardens are well maintained and the swimming pool was a blessing as the daily temperatures during our four day stay hovered between 30 and 40 C. Our room felt... More

We had choosen to stay here two nights, to relax and to visit the town of Assisi, a 10 minuten walk from the hotel. Beautifull views from the terrace, and sing pool, clean, spacious room, delicious outside dinner, helpfull and friendly staff. Tip: ask for a 'normal, large' room; we heard some people complain about far too low ceilings which... More
