Our ground floor "room" was in fact a charming two room suite with stone floor and vaulted ceiling. Double doors opened from our room onto a private garden with a pomegranate tree full of fruit and beautiful long views across the Umbrian countryside. Very well located near the important sights and many restaurants. Very highly recommended.

Our room at this 7-room residence was more like an apartment than a hotel room. It was absolutely better than perfect. Each suite is named and we stayed in the Beatitude suite. Huge, with a huge private garden out back. Bed is comfortable, which has become very important to me. View out the back double doors is awesome. One morning... More

I just left the beautiful medieval village of Assisi. There are 12 of us from the United States. We can be a little demanding....and Giordano Granelli made our stay absolutely wonderful. This place is tucked right into the village. One of the rooms we rented had a terrace overlooking lower Assisi. We bought wine and cheese from a local store... More

Staff were incredible, bending over backwards to help. Every one of them is a jewel! The rooms were lovely, terrace and setting very special. It was great being right in the centre of assisi with access all hours, hearing the bells up close etc. my only tiny grumble, the kitchenette was not properly equipped as expected, but staff soon helped... My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at the hospitality, lovely room with a spacious sitting area, and balcony with a beautiful view. Breakfast was fun at a nearby cafe. We would recommend this hotel during your stay in Assisi.

We loved our stay in this accommodation. We booked for three nights and asked to postpone our rental for one day due to our car lease not being ready in Rome. They were very gracious to assist us with changing our booking which we greatly appreciated. The accommodation is beautiful and the weekend we stayed in Assisi there was a... More

We travelled to Assisi and stayed here with seven other couples. We got the room in the pictures and it was absolutely gorgeous... however ONE of the couples in or group got "stuck" with the adjoining room to the hotel and they were NOT happy! The others seem to have enjoyed their room so I guess it pays to be... More

Dear Guest, We are glad to know you had such a good time in our Residenza. We're delighted you appreciated your Suite. However we have to clear up that the Residenza haven't any "servants quarters". There are seven suites, some largers than others but all of them accord with the style of the 14th century original mansion. More

After searching among the many hotels Trip Advisor lists for Asissi, I chose the Residenza D'epoca San Crispino for our 3-night stay. "T.A.'s" lovely pictures of this quaint place and the area of Assisi, illustrated what I recalled of my previous (day) visits to this historical city; cobbled stone streets; beautiful stone buildings within the city walls; and the 'holiness'... San Crispino Historic Mansion is the perfect place if you wish to spend an unforgettable stay in a real medieval ambiance, with all modern facilities, right in the historic centre of Assisi, the city of St. Francis.
