A beautiful boutique hotel in the centre of Assisi with stunning views over the village and valley. A delicious breakfast is included. Our host Sylvio was enthusiastic and vivacious. The rooms were generous in space and comfortable. Walk out the door and the choice of restaurants and shops is huge.

The perfect location for a visit to Assisi because it is a short walk to everything. The rooms are nice and very large with a homey/comfortable feel. The beds were good and we slept well. There was A/C in our rooms which worked well. We had two rooms on the 3rd floor and the views were lovely. The location, size... More

Overall, this was a very pleasant experience in a nicely appointed hotel. There are really no special "frills" to speak of, the rooms are average sized, clean, and decently appointed. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and had a wonderful view of the countryside from our window, so if you want a nice view to wake up from, then you... More

We fell in love with Assisi. Our host was charming and provided great tips on what to do and see ...as well as best spots to take pictures. We got the best pictures of our entire 3 weeks trip in Italy here ! Room is nice... Hotel is very well located. Restaurant recommendations by our host were excellent. Breakfast is... More

accommodating (and patient). I arrived (I still am embarrassed by this) without having noted the name and address of my reservation. I landed at this hotel and tried to figure it out. Lovely Renata at the front desk resourcefully and tirelessly helped me make every possible contact. (Turns out I hadn't actually made a confirmed reservation anywhere.) She said she... More

Some reviews here rave about the view-- but we were placed on the first floor (reminder: first floor is one floor above ground floor) and there was NO view to speak about. Rooms were average size, nothing special. From other reviews, it seems the experience on the third floor is widely different. This is always the question in the back... More

Beautiful, small hotel, recent renovations, EXCELLENT location and spectacular, breath-taking views! Stayed for 3 nights, room on 3rd floor was roomy, big bed, surprisingly large bathroom. No street noise whatsoever in 3rd floor room. VERY clean. Superb front desk staff. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Loved this place!

Hotel Il Palazzo is a boutique hotel, just a dozen rooms or so. It has been created in part of a very old Palazzo and the restoration work has revealed structural elements of the old building, but created comfortable and intimate spaces for the 21st century traveller. Its authenticity and very convenient location roughly between the Duomo and the main... More

Assis is a wonderful home to the catheral of Saint Francis, the town, a mountain community, is closed to car traffic, however it is a must to stay in the city and enjoy all the marvelous sites. We chose Hotel Il Palazzo located a short walk from the Catheral. This is a small botique hotel with great management comfortable rooms... More
