It is just beautiful to descend the path towards Assisi from the campsite. The place is quite and clean. Toilets and showers are clean with hot running water. Personnel is kind and you pay for the night, so the day of your departure you can stay until mid-afternoon without a surcharge. A rare gift. Highly reccomended.

Five years ago, I visited Fontemaggio for the first time while backpacking through Europe with my little tent. When I came back this year, I was welcomed like a long-lost friend. It was amazing. The camp site is calm with lots of shade and a beautiful view. Next time I stayed in one of the hotel rooms that are simple... More
