My wife, daughter and I enjoyed our three nights in this comfortable agriturismo. It is very well positioned for visiting Assisi and Perugia which are only a few minutes away, yet it is quiet and peaceful and doesn't have the parking problems associated with staying in these cities themselves. It's a family set up with at least three generations contributing... More

We stayed here only for one night in February and really this is the nicest place you can find in the area. (I can imagine during the summer time). Very close distance from Assisi and other amazing small towns in the area. It’s very easy to find and the food here is worth the stay. We were worried as we... More

Mama's cooking is great. Stay here, go out and enjoy the surrounding towns and cities (especially Assisi) but eat light so, when you return here for dinner, you are hungry because you will be served more than enough delicious food. Expect to gain weight while you are here. By the way, the breakfasts were also filling (and the pies and... More

Last week we spent three days at Nocero Umbro. It's location is really good /close to Assisi/ and has a wonderful natural environment. The owner, Paula is a very nice person; she helps always if you need. The price is correct, includes the substantial breakfast, and if you want you can try the delicious, local dinner cooked by Paula’s Mum... More

After reading about il Noceto Umbro here on tripadvisor, I couldn't wait to get here to try out Mama's cooking. It was well worth it. The rooms are comfortable, if on the small side, and the bathroom is large. As everyone here says, the food is wonderful. The breakfast is basic, but it usually held us all day. I have... More

Il Noceto Umbro is a special place: the beautiful setting, the warm and generous hospitality, and fantastic food for dinner and breakfast. Paola went out of her way to give us suggestions that helped us make the most of our short time in Umbria. Her mother is an incredible cook and we look forward to getting her DVD and learning... We've spent a couple of days in Il Noceto Umbro to discover Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, etc... Great hospitality and above all: an amazing restaurant. Highly recommendable !!!

A family run hotel where they make you feel at home, and part of that family. Paola's charming hospitality, traditional food cooked by her mom, the history of the building, the quite and green location in the middje of the Umbrian countryside, the lovely setting...all these factors far outweigh the excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend Il Noceto.
