Situated just north of Empoli- a junction on the motorway between Pisa Airport and Florence - the Hotel Monna Lisa is situated in Vinci, surrounded by the vineyards that make up the Chianti Montalbeno wine area. With its own car parking area and on a road that leads directly out of the town centre to the north, it is an... More

The lady at the front desk was very polite and spoke a good English. The room (single room with king size bed) was big enough, clean and quite. The air condition is a litte bit loud but acceptable. The bathroom was clean, however the shower cabin was very narrow and needs a new shower head (maybe with flexible hose?). At... More

We stayed at Hotel da Vinci only one night on our way to Southern Italy with a group of tourists. The hotel is very nice and clean, the rooms are comfortable, my only problem was the bathroom door: it is a nice design made of glass, but practically it means nothing, as there is approx.1 cm left around it, so... We stayed here in August, the hotel was very quiet, at times we felt like the only guests. We did not eat at the hotel as the restaurant didn't seem to be open. The hotel is not in Vinci, it's about 20 minute drive, it is actually in Empoli. We used it as a base, it is in easy reach... More

The guys arrange our triple room wrongly and gave us a double room and we told them they simply told us that they could add another bed to it. After we told them there is simply no space they realize it and change us. This can only be done after chasing another couple out from our intended room. The guy... More

Badly designed: No shelves or drawers for clothes Basin without overflow (so when we inadvertantly left the tap running the bathroom flooded) Plugs that turn off with lights so difficult to charge PCs Noisy: Our room overlooked the back of a supermarket that loaded its goods each morning at 5.30 Overcharge for wi-fi: €10 / day !!! Breakfast: Negligent -... More

As this hotel is categorized 4 star, I was disappointed with the size of the room, bathroom was very small with a soap the size of a stamp and enough shampoo for a bald man. I have to say the staff was very kind and the breakfast was fine.

Bathroom dirty. Sky TV €5 a day extra. Internet connectivity €10 a day extra. Everything geared to make as much money as possible. Everyone gives wireless connectivity for free nowadays. All airports and restaurans and most hotels are free. This hotel wants €10 a day extra for it. No irons in the hotel at all. Not want you want to... More

We stayed here for a night as we explore Pontedera (my husband being a Vespa enthusiast and officer of VespaCLubPh). The room was comfortable, there's a supermarket nearby, and the restaurant at the lobby has absulutely great food. Am still thinking about the dish I ordered! The Capuccino served at breakfast is absolutely great! Though the place is not that... More

Good for a one night stay. Room was not very good for the value. However, food at the restaurant was quite good. Breakfast spread was passable. Could have been better. One needs to know Latin to be able to converse in this city.
