The hotel is just over a 15 min walk to the Piazza del Campo. The hotel itself is charming and has the best possible view you can imagine of the Tuscan countryside. The room was slightly small and the shower wasn't working very well but the view made up for it. Also the staff were lovely and very friendly and... More

Booked this hotel only 10 minutes before arriving, maybe we were lucky, we had room, Which was spacious in the bedroom and in the 'bathroom', baring in mind with such lovely views to sit and look at on the terrace your only really in your room to shower and sleep! My only negative, is it advertises a jacuzzi and after... More

I'll start off with the view as it was my favorite part of the hotel. I was traveling with a friend and we had just had a long and stressful day coming from Rome (almost missed train, pouring rain, soaked by passing car) anyways, the second we got to the hostel and saw the beautiful tuscan view from the room... Not so good overall. The staff were friendly enough and spoke enough English, the breakfast buffet was small, but the food was fresh, and the view of the Tuscan countryside is pleasing. The location is pretty good being a 30 minute walk from the square in old town Siena. The problem was with the room which, although clean, was very... More

This hotel is just 15 min walk from Campo, very pacefull view from hotel rooms and free parking. The rooms are outdated, bathroom very basic and small with a fungus marks on silicone. The main building (about 16 rooms) is quite noisy, you can know what the other talk in his room. The breakfast was in my opinion below average.

This is a wonderful, quiet B&B just steps from the Porta Roma entrance to Siena. It is off a busy road, but you would never know when you arrive through the gate and are met with miles of fields and gardens. We saw deer and pheasants, lots of song birds. There is a huge lovely terrace to enjoy in the... More

Came for the Palio di Siena - Siena's Palio Horse Race so all hotels inside the city gates were full. This was a good choice with free parking just outside the gates. Fabulous jacuzzi with a view, but the rooms and beds were basic as was the breakfast. Uphill nice walk to city center.

Plusses---car park, Tuscan view from some rooms, and an easy 15 minute walk into the center of Siena. Hate to disagree with majority of reviews and the omnipresent Rick Steves, but this Hotel is basically an over priced Hostel plus. No disrespect to Hostels---which I understand have been Guccified recently--and may surpass Romana, but the room, toilet, non-existent and absurd... More

A very easy place to find with convenient parking. A short walk to the historic city center. Great views of the Tuscan landscape from the hotel site. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable rooms provided a good value. Breakfast was adequate and it was nice to be able to get a glass of wine to enjoy while sitting on the... More

We are 2 experienced travelers and we have marked this place with "Excellent". Good location, not far from the center, and that's because - very quiet. Wonderful nature around the hotel. One day by the window I saw a small deer. Birds, butterflies, lavender flowers allows to feel summer with all your soul. The hotel is good for relaxation. Good... More
