This hotels best feature is that it is about a three minute walk from Il Campo, Siena's beautiful seashell shaped square. We were helped by Raymond, who was very friendly and informative. The beds were really clean and comfortable. No free breakfast, but we got a discount at a local bar to buy coffee, croissants, etc. I wish we could... More

La Perla was a delightful little place to stay. Location inside the walls of Sienna with only two streets away from the arena where the Palio horse race is held. When we got tired it was great to walk back for a rest. Taxi bay close by and coaches terminal a 4 minute walk.. There is no breakfast but that... More

It is located near to the Cathedral and near to Piazza del Campo. The staff is very polite and helpful. Wifi internet was very slow. Smallest bathroom ever! Bed was OK, cleanliness levels good. Free parking is quite far (at least 1km, paid parking is possible about 800m from the hotel).

As, you walk into the receptionist room the seemed to be a funny smell, I think it was cats, so if your allergic to cats don't take the front room. The location is great. It is in a quiet area. We stayed in the big room that was off of the receptionist area. Nice view of the courtyard. The beds... More

Been there for 4 nights. The room was small but ok for a single person, clean and with comfortable bed. The bathroom was absolutely too small. Central zone, nice view of Duomo from windows. Major problem was the absence of internet connection because the signal couldn't reach the top floor rooms: that was too bad coz I had to work... More

My mother and I rent for 3 nights at "La Perla". We had the room # 20 which was comfortable enough (beds ok), especially noiseless at all times as we had view on inner court. We had a small twin-bedded room, very basic but with what you need and functionnal air conditioning. Both in the room and hotel, everything was... More

Firstly, the location is fantastic. Right in the heart of town and easy access to everything you might want to visit. However the hotel was tiny and run down. Tiny single beds, broken heater, no wifi in rooms. Tiny dark bathroom. Was like staying in a school dormitory though it was clean and tidy.

Hotel La Perla was a great stay for my wife and I! We were actually able to drive up to the hotel (an exhilarating experience for me...terrifying to my wife!) to drop off bags and get checked in. There is plenty of public out of the city walls, but my wife threw her back out before our trip, so I... More

We picked the hotel based on its location- right in the center of the city. Public parking is available in one of the many parking garages outside of the city so pack lightly as you will be pulling your suitcase up a long hill then carrying it up several flights of stairs. The staff were very friendly and spoke English.... More
