Everything you need for 2 people. We had the lower apartment, on the west side. The kitchen is set up nicely to make your own meals. Bummer for us, they had the pool covered, due to cooler weather (cool, by local standards, not for those of us from the upper Midwest). No English spoken by the hosts. If you're always... More

We stayed here for a week in august 2012. The apartment is clean, large enough and has a well equipped kitchen. There was salt and pepper, 1 dishwasher tablet and only 1 kitchen towel. However, the supermarket is nearby. The pool is quite large, and during our stay, we had it completely to ourselves on the three days on which... More

I cannot say enough about Villa Malamerenda!! This is a perfect location and a beautiful spot. Even more wonderful are the hosts. Elisa, Vahid, and Marta are so helpful. We do not speak Italian, however Marta speaks English, very well, particularly if you are little patient and one of you have a dictionary. They invited us for a terrific Italian... More

We might have enjoyed our stay more if the hosts were a bit more welcoming and helpful: Positives: The apartment is clean. the bathroom is adequate. there is a washing machine. it is nice to have a swimming pool in the hot weather. The apartment is only 10-15 minutes from the gates of Siena. Marta let us use his house... More

Great base for visiting Siena and surrounding area of Chianti. Apartment clean and comfortable. Owners unobtrusive but very helpful and friendly. Probably need a car to take full advantage of the location. Only 10 minutes drive from the Porta Romana gate into the beautiful city of Siena. Good size, well maintained pool, if weather permits. Welcome washing machine for mid... More

The apartment we were in was quite large and comfortable and good value for money. You do need a car to get around as it is outside Sienna. The only down sides with the apartment was that there was a bit of noise from the main road and the beds could have been a bit more comfortable.Still it was very... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our four nights at Villa Malamerenda. The location was convenient for visits to Siena, as well as for day trips to the hill towns. The unit itself was quite clean and comfortable. Though it was too cool to actually use the pool, we did enjoy sitting poolside for some wine and cheese. It was also a real... More

Although there were a few issues, we enjoyed our stay at Villa Malamerenda in Tuscany. This is a good central point to visit many of the lovely Tuscany towns nearby, especially Siena, Montepulciano, and San Gimignano with its majestic towers. The appartment was comfortable although the bathroom was definitely smaller than the picture indicates. I suspect we were given the... More

Malamerenda is beautiful. The view from the pool is the Tuscan countryside, the apartment was clean and functional and the hosts very welcoming. Elisa and Vihad treated us to lunch and pizza dinner with their friends on Sunday. My son was invited to make a pizza in their outdoor oven and loved the experience. We met another family and enjoyed... More

We stayed for four nights and found the apartment excellent. The cooking facilities/kitchen had hob and oven, dishwasher, large fridge and a washing machine. The setting was lovely, including the pool area with an excellent view of Siena in the distance. The family were unobtrusive but helpful when required. Would recommend this apartment, but really requires a car as the... More
