We stayed at Casa Laura for four nights at the end of March, 2015. It was a wonderful home, comfortable and clean. The floor had a kitchen for all the guests to use. There was a stove burner to plug in, a refrigerator with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and all the dishes one would need. The owner, Laura, is wonderfully kind... More

We stayed two nights at Laura's lovely family home. It is very centrally located in the old city within walking distance of everything, and the price is very, very reasonable. I was immediately impressed when Laura insisted on carrying my over-stuffed duffle up three flights of stairs so I wouldn't be inconvenienced. The rooms were large and comfortable with en... More

Laura is utterly charming and welcomes you into the rooms that have been in her family for three generations. We stayed in two different rooms and each had access to a kitchen. The rooms are well located for the central piazza and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is not included and Laura does not stay over night so don't forget... More

This was our 2nd time in Siena, but 1st time we were there only for 1 day, didnt stay over the night. This time we stayed for 6 days / 5 nights in this wonderful city, all of them staying at Casa Laura. And what a great find it was! Situated in 600 years old bulding, less than 10 minutes... More

We were greeted warmly and quickly shown our room. It was bright and spacious, beautifully decorated, and included a bed made up of crisp embroidered sheets. We had wide open windows with great wooden shutters overlooking the street. We followed their dinner recommendation and met Laura at the restaurant. She was warm, open, and delightful. The bed was extremely comfortable... More

Our 5th time to stay at Casa Laura and we still love it! Iolanda (Laura's Mamma) is such a lovely lady and we had a great laugh with her! We hope she continues to get better after her recent illness. The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. No breakfast is included but there are plenty of café's very close by... More

we also booked through the tourist office - so we didnt know what we were letting ourselves in for. The older woman booked us in (the mother?) who didnt speak any english so couldnt explain anything, so we didnt know where things were, what was included, if we could use the kitchen (we did - for tea/coffee - though probably... My wife and I absolutely loved Casa Laura. We arrived in Siena without a reservation and couldn't find anywhere to stay. Luckily there was room here. The owner's mother (who doesn't speak English) showed us to our room - a big room even by American standards. It was clean and we liked it, although there were no "fancy" touches. The... More

We were gently received by the owner's mother in this "Miniresidence" that consists of a very centrally located historical building which is shared between the hotel and family apartments. Unfortunately everything is a bit too informal, the cleaning only focused on making the beds, the bathrroms was never clean before or during our stay and reservations were merely verbal. On... More
