I really enjoyed my stay in this great medieval hotel. As I heard it used to be a monastery few centuries ago and you can still get this feeling in nowdays. The room itself is simple but has quite everything you might need. Our room had a small balcony which worked out great for us - smokers. The location is... More

The wi fi might not be very good, but the location was brilliant and the staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again if we were to visit Sienna again. The restaurants are all within walking distance and access to car parking is very useful.

We recently traveled to Italy. Siena was one of our favorites. The Il Chiostro del Carmine is a lovely place to stay. The staff was wonderful and would do anything to accomodate you. The rooms were comfortable, clean with large bathrooms. The view from some of the rooms is amazing. I would highly recommend it.

My son and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a restful wonderful experience. We had a lovely room with amazing views of the Tuscan countryside, we could not fault it. The facilities at the hotel were good. The staff made you feel extremely welcome and at home, they could not have been more accommodating, in particular Olgeta and... More

We were booked into this hotel with a cycling trip. It is in an old Monastery and it is a beautiful building. We expected that the wi fi in the room would be terrible but even sitting in the wi fi hot spot service was sporadic. As mentioned in other reviews, if you are on the top floor, get ready... More

This Hotel has a excellent location if your there to explore Sienna. The main common area courtyard is quite picturesque. But by far what stood out the most about this hotel is the staff, Roberta, the front desk lady almost acted as our personal tour guide and selected every restaurant we ate at during our stay. There was not one... More

Six of us stayed here for 3 nights and we all loved it. The service was fantastic. I needed to have something sent to me from my previous hotel and the front desk staff were amazing. They set up the whole delivery for me through DHL and made sure that everything was taken care of, even making sure I got... More

The view made this hotel great. The bed was hard and the shower was tiny but the view was fantastic! Their is no elevator so if you can't do stairs or carry your own bag this is not the place for you. The walls were very thin you could hear people talking babies crying. The breakfast was wonder, the staff... More

Whilst undoubtedly charming in terms of the building, I cannot describe this as a true four star hotel. I've stayed in two and three star places that knocked spots off this one.The bathrooms are really in need of some money being spent on them - the shower cubicle in particular being quite unwelcoming. The wifi didn't work at all during... More

Wifi is only available in the lobby. The staff are nice but the place looks more run down and decrepit than historic and atmospheric. The bathroom was well equipped but the hairdryer didn't work, and there were a lot of hairs on the bed cover which was rather disgusting, it wouldn't hurt to use a vacuum cleaner on them.
