Very good location for visit of Siena, but only if you a car. First sight is not good but than you turn around the house and it is perfect. Very nice and helful owner, very spacious rooms, breakfast is in the way that the fridge is ful and you help yourself in the morning. Very good, kitchen is fully equipped.... More

Le Petti Rosso is about 10mins is 10 mins by taxi from the centre of Siena. (Cost about E14) The drive way is like a cart track and brings you upon what appears to be derelict farm buildings. One of the windows above what we realised later was our window had been covered in chicken wire and the remains of... More

The host never answered our call and we waited for hours before giving up. We had to find another hotel in emergency at 8pm. The worst part is that she answered the next day and never apologized. She was very rude and STILL CHARGED US FOR THE NIGHT !! Oh, and it is located between the highway and a dog... More

My experience is very similar to the previous reviews. We were shouted at over the phone for not showing up at precisely 3.30 when the check in time is between 3.30 and 6.30. We had to rush out of our museum tour to arrive before 5pm as the person was threatening to be absent afterwards. When we showed up (after... More

I booked this hotel for a night in August 4th. Unfortunately i missed the check in window which is only from 15,30 to 18,30, (yes, only 3 hours...). I was travelling by car and arrived late around 8. The hotel was empty, only a note with 2 mobile numbers. I called both numbers like 30 times to get an answer.... More

We travelled through Italy by car so the location of the hotel (I guess around 1 km from Siena) was all right. We were met by the owner, Andrea, who was very friendly and helpful. The room we got was at the upper level, under the roof, so it was a bit stuffy because of +35-38C outside, but we had... More

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in July 2013. The B&B is located on the outskirts of Siena – a 15 minute drive (via Via Gaetano Milanesi and Strada Marciano). If driving, it is best approached from the north autostrade (Firenze-Siena, labelled Siena Acqua Clada). It IS possible to walk into Siena from the B&B, which we... More

The Pettirosso get's 10 out of 10 in every single way. We were 4 people, having 2 different apartments. Both were extremely comfortable, charming, and well kept up as well as offering amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. This spot was close enough to the city of Siena yet independent and well stocked enough to offer us a choice of... More

Il Pettirosso, is on Via Petriccio e Belriguardo 97, 15 minutes drive from Siena. We booked in here because we wanted to stay overnight and experience the Palio but all the hotels in the city center were already fully booked. No problem, we thought this little hotel looked lovely and made a reservation. First thing to note is that it... More

We came in early without realising the check in time and was lucky to be greeted by Cedric who made us feel so welcomed! He even gave us suggestions places to go. The apartment was fully equipped and continental breakfast was provided and replenished everyday! Loved the fact that it was a self catering apartment and had a daily cleaning... More
