We had a truly lovely stay here. Good breakfast, nice staff, lovely quiet and spacious room with a canopy bed, and a fabulous location just a few blocks from both the church and the town square. AC was not strong, but was better than other hotels in Italy provided. Wifi was good too. our daughter was on a rollaway bed,... More

Elisa was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were lovely and clean. It was so nice to be able to have a cuppa when we needed one in the communal lounge area. The fridge had cold water available. It was the little things that made our stay so enjoyable. The breakfast was simple but adequate.... More

This was a charming bed and breakfast hotel in Siena. The room was air conditioned which was a must when the temperatures were in the 90's. The staff was very accommodating too. Breakfast was good too. Best part it was in the historic area of the medieval town. One could walk to everything. Also many good eateries around the area.

We stayed here for four nights in July and were not disappointed. From the time we walked through the door and met the wonderful and friendly Elisa, we received excellent service and helpful hints for our time in Siena. The location is excellent - a very short walk from Il Campo, the Duomo, and the major shopping and restaurant locations... More

My daughters and I stayed at the A.R. Cicogna in late July, and it was a great experience. Elisa gave us a great recommendation sheet for restaurants and attractions. The room was beautiful and clean, the wi-fi dependable, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. There was a huge selection of fruit, breads, cheeses, eggs, and great espresso and cappuccino.... Immaculately presented property with gracious and helpful hosts. Just a hop, skip and jump to bars, restaurants and the sights but tucked away in a quieter street so no street noise at all. Rooms are on the first and second floors with only stair access. Fine for us but wouldn't suit those with impaired mobility. Would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I had a room on the 2nd floor (no elevator) so luggage could be a problem for some. But room was wonderful. Entire B & B is beautifully renovated. Room overlooked the street with many shops. A few blocks from the main plaza. Breakfast was wonderful. Both Lisbeth (owner) and Llaria were quite friendly and helpful -... More

This recently renovated, family run BnB is centrally located in Siena. My room was spacious and comfortable, and everything, including the air conditioning and free WiFi, worked well. New, double pane windows kept out the minimal street noise. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

Trust me, Antica Residenza Cicogna is the place to stay in Siena! A beautifully maintained residence that was the home of the owner's grandmother. It has a prime location in the old center of town within easy walking distance of the Duomo and Il Campo (which Rick Steves calls the "Best town square in Italy"). The multi story former single... We stayed here for only one night and thought it was the best place we been to in our 12 days in Italy! The room we had was for 3 people so it had a queen sized bed in one room and in another room there was a pullout sofa, both beds were comfortable with nice linens. The absolute highlight... More
