We were taking a Mediterranean Cruise and wanted to get over the jet lag by spending some time in Tuscany prior to boarding our ship. Based on the reviews on trip advisor we decided to spend 3 nights at Castello delle quattro torra. Our trip got off to a rocky start as the GPS we had lost its European maps... more

Castello delle quattro torra is an enchanting escape into medieval Italy and away from the crowds. Only a short 5 minute drive from Sienna, we got lost and after a phone call, Nicola our gracious host drove out and escorted us back. The apartment was very spacious for 2 people and in late autumn, was warm and cosy with heating... more

My partner and I stayed at the Castello for 3 nights in mid-Nov 2009. We got lost on our way there, but called Nicola and he gave us instructions. DO NOT FORGET, if you are to stay at the Castello, FROM SIENA, look for directional signs going to AREZZO and DUE PONTI (but you shouldn't REACH Due Ponti). On the... more

We stayed Castello delle quattro torra for 2 nights. The accomodation is extremely satisfied. The view of tuscana and hospitalbe Nicola gave us great impression of this place. This is the best place we stayed in Italy during our 10 days trip. more

Stayed here 1 night while travelling though Tuscany. A little difficult to find without a GPS, but not more than a few minutes outside of one of the gates into Sienna. I called to say that I was having trouble finding the castle, and the manager drove out to meet me in Sienna and escort me back. Ask for the... more

We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. We had no trouble finding the castle we had no GPS and we were driving on the "wrong side of the road!" but just followed the directions supplied on the internet ,easy! It is like stepping back in time although some of the art works are not too our taste... more

Great stay! The best croissants I’ve had in my life! Warm and fresh every morning…however…the same breakfast EVERY morning…or at least the 3 we were there. I would recommend 1 night here ‘just because’ everyone wants to stay in a real life castle. Not in August though…. to hot in Italy to sleep without A/C…we survived it though, there were... more

Staying at this castle was absolutely one of the main highlights of our vacation in Italy! Perched up on a beautiful hilltop, against the backdrop of poetic Tuscan landscape, this rustic castle takes out of your element & transports you to a world beyond the furthest reaches of your imagination. Everything about this castle is truly a dream to behold--a... more

Yes, this B&B is a little hard to find, but if you put your trust in your GPS you will get there. I have tried to find unusual, out of the way places wherever we travel, but my husband and I agree this is at the top of the list. The Castello is magnificent, perched on a hillside overlooking Siena... more
