We could not have secured a better location for our Siena stay. The hub of town is Il Campo and Palazzo Masi is a few short minutes away, but the B&B is on a street that was very quiet at night. We booked a superior room with a very nice en-suite bathroom. There is a handy self-serve laundry a few... More

We’re very happy in reading that you enjoyed your stay right in the heart of our city booking one of our superior rooms. My husband and I had a great stay at Palazzo Masi in Siena. Centrally located, affordable, our room was of generous size with comfortable bed, spotlessly cleaned and quiet. We stayed there for 2 nights this May and it was a great experience. If you have problems with walking up stairs be warned the place is on the 2nd floor,... More

This is not a palace, it’s part of a block of flats. The second and third floors to be exact and they seem to call it Palazzo Masi. It’s not even a proper B & B because it doesn’t have a breakfast room. Breakfast is 5 minutes walk away in a local café. The web site doesn’t actually tell any... More

It’s unfortunately unpleasant to read a similar review.More than surprising, just for the fact that only few days ago you left our property thankfully, after smiles and hugs, telling us about your six-month trip to Italy, which continued after your stopover of a single night in Siena. Not a single word of complaint, in front of us. After so many misleading... More

We stayed at Palazzo Masi during our 2-week tour of Italy, and we will ABSOLUTELY stay here again! What a great location! The hotel is very centrally located, in the heart of town, and a one-minute walk to Il Campo. We wanted to be in the middle of the action, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. We did... We had a wonderful time staying in Siena at Palazzo Masi. The location is just a minute from Il Campo and the heart of Siena, very close to so many things. Daniela and Alizzardo are wonderful hosts too. Daniela booked a wine tour of Chianti one afternoon which was so much fun and very educational. And her cheerfulness was so... More

My stay at Palazzo Masi was fantastic. Daniela and her husband are gracious hosts. Daniela provided easy directions. Palazzo Masi is located right in the center but off a side street so very quiet. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and Daniela was kind enough to arrange a wine tasting tour of Chianti and also provided various contacts for restaurants... More

Daniela and Alizzardo are wonderful hosts of this old family home and go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Our room was quite large and very comfortable. Just a 2 minute walk to Il Campo you are staying in the heart of Siena, the location is perfect. Daniela was also very helpful in recommending a neighborhood restaurant just... More

Located on the second and third floors of a private building, this hotel/B&B is well situated, only a two-minute walk from Il Campo. The room was large and comfortable and the host Alizzardo was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast however was not included in the price. We would stay there again.

What a great experience! Great location (if you are ok with the party atmosphere :) ! Daniela and Alizzandro are just fantastic hosts. They got us oriented and really helped us get into the festivities of Le Palio. Siena truly comes to life during that time and Palazzo Masi in it all. -- WARNING if you want a quiet place... More

We stayed in the La Staffa (Superior) room at Palazzo Masi for three nights in June 2013. We found the hosts, Daniela and Alizzardo very friendly. Upon arrival we enjoyed a welcome drink of Vin Santo with biscuits and Daniela even carried one of our suit cases up the stairs! As they mention on their website, they try to make... More
