Daniela is such a wonderful host! The rooms are just perfect with the medieval feel of Siena. We were warm, cosy and slept like kings in this beautiful room! Such an excellent central location, just a few steps to Il campo the main Piazza. Daniela gave us the best recommendations for restaurants and shopping. We cannot wait to come back... More

We really enjoyed staying at the Palazzo Masi, but you should know that it is more like having your own apartment (but without a kitchen) than a hotel or B & B. There is no front desk and no one on duty 24/7. Daniela was super friendly and very helpful when we saw her, but that was not often. One... More

Dear Susan, many thanks for your review. You and your party, six persons in total, booked all the three double superior rooms with private bathrooms located at the second floor, so that entire apartment was reserved only for you.During your stay we took care to ensure your privacy being more physically present on the third floor, although every morning and... We stayed 3 nights at Palazzo Masi and absolutely loved every minute of it. Daniela is extremely kind, always has a smile on her face and is very helpful. Our room was filled with antiques, and Daniela was able to share the history of several of the pieces in our room. The location is perfect; close to Il Campo and... More

If you are an efficient traveller who never misses a train or allows their phone to need charging and can find their way in a city they never visited before this will be perfect for you. However we arrived at the station an hour late, due to a large event ( which we did not know about) there were no... More

This was one of the most unpleasant experience in our job since the beginning of our activity. We’re not surprised of this comment, having experienced this guests’ manners focused on the total lack of respect concerning the people’s work.I’m here to rectify her misrepresentation of reality. She arrived late at night, without any advice and being well informed regarding the check-in time,... Palazzo Masi offers very comfortable accommodation in a fabulous location with wonderful hosts. Our host, Daniela, patiently answered all our emails before our arrival and helped us with advice on where to go and what to do in Siena. She also arranged tickets for us to view the Palio. It was a really great experience to witness Siena during the... More

First of all: great location! Ancient building in the heart of Siena, with a kind and helpful owner. Nicely decorated appartment. There are some cons though. When we arrived, it rained, so we decided to relax in the room a little. It was really hot, I understand that airco is a no go in such an ancient building, but a... More

Hello Marc. Yes, our windows are just in front of the amazing, historical Palazzo Chigi Saracini with the Chigiana Academy, where prestigious, world-famous teachers and students are coming from every continent. The Academy is internationally recognized as one of Italy’s most prestigious musical institutions: the master classes on July and August have welcomed the best in international music. You had... We used Rick's books, and while all others were positive surprises, this one was not. The location is GREAT, but conditions of flat were not what we expected for the price. It is in need of an update to be truly competitive with the other places we stayed during Italy trip.

Hi Cory, you stayed in Siena one single night, arriving on hurry only to partecipate to a cooking class during the entire evening, then you left early after I booked for you a taxi.I don't know what you could enjoy and see in our beautiful Siena and in our property, except the wifi (that seemed the most interesting thing for... Host Daniela has several nice rooms on the second and third floors of an historic building just steps off the Campo in central Siena. We were able to make a last-minute reservation by email from elsewhere in Italy and she was able to accommodate 4 of us with 2 very nice rooms. The price was reasonable for the central location,... The place is clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. But what's more is its historic building and furnishings, location, and hosts. Daniela and Alizzardo are the best.
