Very high ceiling so the room was a bit cold, with a heater in the bathroom only. The roor opens directly in the room, there is no small corridor as most hotel rooms have. Decoration is very white. Too white, it lacks character. going to Sienna requires a car. Walking along that uninteresting road would take *way* too much time.... More

I stayed at soggiorno lo stellino in august for 20 days. it is a bit far from the city center. by walking 30 minutes. there are 2 bus lines that go to city center. but you can walk as well if you have time and like walking. it is clean, quiet. I especially thank Anna for her friendly and warm... More

Soggiorno Lo Stellino is located about 3 km outside the city center, but since no parking is allowed in the city center anyway, the distance is negligible. We were able to park our car for free when at the hotel (there's a little children's play area next to the parking), and when we went into Siena we parked in one... More

This small hotel is located in the Nothern part of Siena, approx. 3 km from the historical town centre. Close to the motorway towards Florence. The historical structure has been renovated well, entrence/reception/breakfast room are modern and stylish. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There are several types of rooms, varying from basic (no A/C, shared bathroom) to more... More

We liked our stay here - clean, huge lobby and common area - comfortable room and spacious. Great balcony. (Shared bathroom was passable). We loved that it had a free and convenient parking lot for our rental car as we were driving through Tuscany. One negative was location - bus stop right outside but about a 20 minute ride into... This B&B was fine for us, the room was OK, everything was clean, spacious room and bathroom, the A/C was a must. The breakfast was perhaps lacking a bit of variety and quality, but the coffee was good and you could do it yourself without bothering the receptionists. Siena's historical centre is a bit far away 2Km or so, but... More

The hotel is situated few km outside the old city center, but there is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you thre in several minutes. The receptionist is friendy and explained the routes and fares to us. The hotel lies on a busy street but the noise is not disturbing in the night if you close the windows.... More

My husband and I used to live in Siena so we know the area very well. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on the hotels so Lo Stellino perfectly fit our budget and the free parking was amazing. The center of siena is about a 25 minute walk but there are constant buses (that takes only 2... More

Our stay in Soggiorno Lo Stellino was a pleasant experience overall. We arrived at the train station late afternoon and waited quite a long time for a bus (there is only 1 and hour but luckily the driver told us where to get off otherwise we wouldn't have had a clue!) I'd advise future guests to get the escalator to... More
